Why Should We Pr ay?
P
rayer does not affect God,
especially Father God. This may
seem like a very cruel statement, but
it’s not. Prayer helps us advance to
God the Father and increases our
spiritual union with God.
Father God is the steadfast mover.
Like intellect, He holds everything
in place. Because of Him we have
always existed and will always exist.
So, to pray to God elevates our soul
and makes our soul expand. It is the
same as when you talk to your angels,
guides, or loved ones who have passed.
Talking to them from this life to the
Other Side makes the veil easier to
break through.
If you watched me on the early
Montel shows, I’m sure you noticed how
audience members didn’t talk about
themes (purposes in life), angels, spirit
guides or loved ones who have crossed
over. Then as I wrote my books and
brought these topics into mainstream
thinking, the tone of these shows began
to change. People wanted to know
about their angels and guides. As time
progressed, people became more aware
of their deceased family member and
divine entities.
My guide Francine says that our
beliefs and talking to those on the
Other Side helps us to break through
the veil between the worlds. She says
that the more we believe, the thinner
the veil becomes. So it is with prayers;
the veil becomes thinner as we pray.
This allows grace to come through, and
then the Holy Spirit becomes stronger
and more prevalent in our lives.
Now, on the other hand, when you
pray to Mother God—“Azna”—your
prayers will more times than not be
answered. She is the great interceptor,
and She is the only one Who interferes
with your chart. She also creates
miracles.

Why We Should Pray. . . cont’d.
Father God is static and unmovable,
but Mother God is and always was the
activator. She carries a sword, not to
harm but to cut through negativity.
(Notice how her sword also makes a
cross.) When I travel, I pray that my
flight is on time, and no matter what
I’m doing, I pray that my channel will
be clear and that Mother God will
protect all of you and my loved ones.
Never be afraid that you have
asked Mother or Father God for too
much or asked too many times. You
have to remember to never give our creators human qualities such as being dis-
gusted, unforgiving, cranky, irritable,
angry, and so on. Both Mother and
Father God always love you unconditionally; and even if you don’t believe
in Them, They believe in you.
When this reincarnation schematic
is over and we are all on the Other
Side, the dark-souled entities will just
be absorbed back into the uncreated
mass. We, on the other hand, keep
our own identity and individuality
for eternity. So, pray to Mother and
Father God— to Him for your soul to
expand and to Her to get things done.
And don’t forget to pray to Our Lord.

I would like my energy to be boosted and for all cloaks or shrouds
to be removed. I am a child of God. I am free of any darkness. I have
accepted the Christ-consciousness and the power of Azna, the Mother
God, into my heart. My very being is illuminated in all areas. I am
empowered with the will of Almighty God to be well, to be fruitful,
and to be optimistic. I am resting in Your hands, in Your heart, O
Mother and Father God. Please lead me, direct me, give me peace,
and show me the way. Amen.
Prayer for Fortitude
Dearest God,
I ask you to place a golden cross right on my forehead and extend
the stem of the cross downward all the way down to the middle part of
my solar plexus, which looks like the golden sword of Azna. I ask for
my soul to rise up and meet the truth and be free. In my heart of hearts
today, I ask that all negativity be released. Any addictions, phobias,
pains, even old fears—I ask that they all be released. Set me free so I
may walk with the true Christ-consciousness.
Today I petition you, Mother Azna, for my prosperity, and to be
freed from worries. Free me from the worries, the trials and tribulations
of the day. I ask that sickness stay away, that my loved ones be safe, and
that I have the White Light of the Holy Spirit around me and all of my
family and friends. I ask for God’s hand to brush away the cobwebs
out of my soul. I feel secure, knowing Father God is holding me forever
in His hands; and Mother God is fighting for me, loving me, standing
with me, and interceding for me. All the while, I ask that my hands are
within Christ’s hands, walking quietly, steadfastly to the end, to the
very end of the road, and then being able to stand before God with my
face lifted and say, “Dear God, with pure motive I did my best.”
I ask this in the name of the Mother, the Father, and the Holy
Spirit. Amen.

Sylvia Talks about Curses, Lost Rings, and Funny Neckties
on Morning Show
S
ylvia continues to connect with her audience and fans along with having lots of fun when
she tapes her monthly episodes on The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. In the most
recent episode, Sylvia spent most of the time answering live questions from the audience. One
woman asked if her family was cursed and Sylvia immediately jumped up to clear the air.
“No, stop right there. I want to let everyone know: there is no such thing as a curse,” Sylvia said.
“Please don’t let that negativity sink in.”
There were also two women in the audience who had lost a ring. Sylvia sent one to the drain in her kitchen sink to
find her missing engagement ring, and she told the other that a relative had taken her heirloom from the house.
At one point, cohost Mike Jerrick flubbed up his lines during the show and jokingly said, “I need help.” Sylvia replied,
“It’s your tie.” The audience laughed, since Mike was wearing a daunting bright green necktie.

Sylvia Calms Worries about Swine Flu
“N
othing’s going to happen!” Sylvia said in response to anyone who is worrying about the swine flu or an impending pandemic. “It’s so erroneous. This is very much like the bird flu, which turned out to be nothing.” Sylvia’s
advice again: “Please stop watching the news. It just keeps making everyone so frightened and hysterical about this.”
Sylvia also said as with any common colds and flu to take the usual precautions, including washing your hands and
being mindful of covering your coughs and sneezes.

Are You Tired of Your Being Sick?

ne of the hardest
things for some
people is to be positive,
both in their mental
outlook and in life.
Those who are positive
in their thinking usually live longer and are healthier than
those who aren’t. They also tend to be more well liked than
negative individuals are. Look at the men and women around
you: out of all of them, whom do you enjoy interacting with?
Nine times out of ten, it will be the ones who are upbeat
in nature. Who wants to be around individuals who are
cynical, depressing, inactive, and down all the time? Most
of us want to be around those who are up, who easily laugh,
who like to do things, and who are generally entertaining
and optimistic about other people and life.
I’m more than 70 years of age, yet folks are constantly
asking me how I keep up with my schedule. Every year I
do dozens of readings, lectures, and interviews; I make
countless appearances on television and radio shows; I’m
the CEO of two organizations; I research and then write
anywhere from two to four books; I run a household; I
interact with friends and family members; and I spend so
much time traveling that my frequent-flyer miles are in the
hundreds of thousands of miles on several carriers!
Everyone around me says I wear them out, and it’s a
standing joke at my office that those who help me do so
in shifts so that they can keep up with me. I have several
editors and secretaries—I like to tease them that there
seems to be no stamina in people today! When I take my
family on a trip, they tire easily and some of them seem to
be sick a lot . . . oh well, youth is wasted on the young! As
Mary Margaret, my friend of more than 60 years, loves
to point out, when we were teenagers I’d be saying that
we should have a party or do something, while my other
pals were flat on their backs, moaning, “Oh no, we need
to rest!”
During my first marriage, I held two jobs, raised two
boys, cooked, took care of the house, and attended night
school for my master’s degree. And my darling dad used
to tell me, “Sylvia, why don’t you just tie a broom to your
rear end—you’re constantly cleaning!” I’ve always had the
ability to do a prodigious amount of work, and thankfully,
God gave me a body that has held up fairly well, although
lately I don’t seem to be able to do as much as I did when I

was younger. (Whenever I mention this, everyone around
me seems to say the same thing: “Yeah, right!”)
How do I do it, you ask? Well, I have an overpowering
love for Mother and Father God and Their creations
(including all of you!), along with an unwavering drive to
help as many folks as I can for Them through my work. Oh,
and I guess as my ex-husband Dal used to say, “You have
a will that rivals God’s!” I do admit to a strong will, and
many times it’s been my savior. When I’ve been sick, tired,
and worn-out—so much so that my body didn’t even want
to move at times—my will has always gotten me through
to meet my obligations. Of course, I also happen to very
lucky in that I love what I do, and I’ve always had fairly
good health despite some chronic problems stemming from
abuse in my first marriage. The combination of my wellness,
strong will, and love for God keeps me going and allows me
to do what I do.

Your own will and positive outlook can accomplish
wonders. If you have a terminal illness, for instance, they
can help make you live longer than anyone’s expectations
and beat the “death sentence.” I’ve witnessed this type of
miracle many times, and in most cases it was because the
individuals in question actually willed themselves to live
and conquer their illnesses or diseases. If people can utilize
their wills to do that, imagine what you can do for your
own health. . . .

Fighting Negativity with Divine Legions
Sylvia shares wisdom to help you on your daily path toward spirituality
from her beloved spirit guides—Francine and Raheim.
Francine: Negative thinking and
emotions attract negativity to us. It
gives dark entities a breeding ground
in your mind. I don’t want to frighten
you in any way, because it isn’t frightening. It’s often helpful to get someone
more highly evolved than you are to
pierce through that darkness and open
it up.
To fight against negativity, repeat
as necessary: “I’m a child of God. I’m
free of any darkness. I am liberated
from any force of darkness. I’m a child
of God. I’ve now accepted the God
Consciousness and the power of Azna
into my heart. My very being, right
now, is illuminated in all areas.
Raheim: An ancient practice from
early Sumeria, which is marvelously
viable, is to put your index finger to
your forehead over your third eye.
Then, in your own mind, say, “I reject this negative implant through
my third eye.” Next, put your index
finger over your heart and say, “I reject this negative implant through my
heart chakra.” Those two are the most
vulnerable chakras. Negativity goes
through the third eye, blinds your psychic sense, and settles in your heart
chakra. If you don’t get rid of it there,
it will go lower into your system.
Now, for example, let’s say you
get a negative review at work. Don’t
allow this negativity to implant you.
When reading it, put your finger to
your forehead. You don’t immediately
have to do this; be very unobtrusive.
Make it seem as if you’re rubbing your
forehead. By doing so, you’re taking
charge of your own vehicle and blocking out that negative implant.
The simplest and most direct way
to dispel attacks of negativity is to call
on the Angels of Light. “Ask and ye
shall receive,” said Jesus. Call on the
Warriors of Light. The problem that
we have is getting you to ask. All the
archangels and all the archetypes are
waiting for your call, but they can’t go
into battle unless you ask. It’s like an
army ready to do battle, and no one
blows the trumpet. It’s so simple. Ask
for your angels to attend thee.
Every day you should ask the archangels to protect you. Now, of course,
you know of Raphael, Michael, and
Ariel, but there are legions of white
archangels. Legions.

WEDDING PRAYER

In a recent issue, we congratulated Sylvia and Michael as they celebrated their union during a special spiritual ceremony
on Valentine’s Day. We mentioned that a wedding prayer was recited on Sylvia’s special day. This is a prayer that Sylvia
wrote 23 years ago for her ministers to use when they’re conducting weddings. Since we received so many requests, here
is Sylvia’s Wedding Prayer in its entirely:
LOVE is God’s complete triangle,
Welding both souls to the glory of Them.
LOVE is, and should be, the outward manifestations
Of God’s goodness shining through the union of two
people.
LOVE cannot grow in quiet darkness,
Nor survive in too much brilliant light.
It cannot survive in silence nor in screams.
LOVE must be tempered and nurtured,
It can even be watered with some tears,
As well as bloom with laughter.
Stagnation kills love—leaving it
Devoid of attention destroys its life.

GROW IN LOVE, Sylvia and Michael
And in this love you will shine for each other
And become a beacon of light for others.
LOVE is forever giving, forever comforting,
Never self-centered in motive. It is truly
A complete triangle with God at its apex.

Q. Do you have any more insights
as to why the Air France plane
headed to Paris from Brazil crashed in
the Atlantic? Did all of the passengers
and crew make it to the Other Side?
Yes, they all made it to the Other Side. For some reason, the wings iced up and caused the plane to go down.
My guide says that before these incidents, Our Lord appears in the doorway and says, “Come with me.” So, no
one feels anything but bliss.
Q. My mother passed more than 10 years ago. I thought
she’d get in touch with me by now, but I haven’t gotten
any messages. Is she angry with me?
No, there is no such thing as being angry or cross on
the Other Side. If it was like that, it wouldn’t be heaven.
Your mother comes in dreams you’re not remembering.
Just ask God to help you remember.
Q. Can you give us some advice on Autoimmune
Disorders?
You should always check your hormones and your
lymph system. You can also keep an eye on your lactose
and gluten intake.
Q. I just click with someone I work with. Does this mean
we knew each other in a past life?
No, you know each other on the Other Side.
Q. Do you have any new predictions for the automobile
industry now that Chrysler has filed for bankruptcy?
The automobile industry will go green and recoup in
two years.
Q. We think there is a spirit that is living in my brother’s
new apartment. My niece is having night terrors. She
wakes up and doesn’t recognize her family and also says
she sees faces. What’s going on?
It’s a female, but she’s not harmful. Her name is Anna.
Just tell her to go Home.
Q. I have a terrible problem with bugs and insects in my
home. Even surrounding them by the white light doesn’t
help. Do you have any suggestions?
Yes, get a pest control person out to your place. It’s
better than you dealing with them.
Q. My young daughter has a constant stomach ache. Can
you recommend anything for her?
Get her off dairy, but have a doctor prescribe calcium
for her.
Q. How can I get rid of the negativity around me?
Get rid of the negative people in your life, even if you’re
alone for awhile. I also see white pristine entities who will
come in.
Q. Will there be a cure for the chronic sleep disorder
narcolepsy?
Yes. We’ll see a cure in seven months.
Q. There has been talk about a new “El Niño” weather
pattern developing. Can you give us more insights on
what weather to expect in the next few months? Which
areas will be hit the hardest?
California and Florida will be hit the hardest, but it
won’t be as bad as last year.
Q. I suffer from rosacea. Can you recommend anything
for me?
Yes, don’t drink any alcohol and try to avoid wheat in
your diet. You can also use Noxema.

Q. I often see lights going on and off at my office or at
home. Who is trying to contact me?
It’s your spirit guide, Marlene, who wants you to
know that she’s there.
Q. What can you tell us about the death of Kung Fu actor
David Carradine? Was it accidental? Did he make it to
the Other Side quickly?
It was accidental—a sex act gone wrong. Yes, he did
make it.

TRAITS: Cancers have a natural aptitude for knowing when
something is not right, and they find it hilariously funny.
However, they’re not practical jokers; their hypersensitivity
keeps them from being that way. They lean more toward the
mental side of humor, or anything that is displaced. Humor
is almost a catharsis for them; it’s a release factor for their
sense of inferiority. They view humor as something else being
displaced, because Cancers walk around most of their lives
feeling displaced.
Every Cancer that I’ve driven with, regardless of their age,
drives like a little old person. At age 20, they’re driving like
a senile octogenarian. So they drive with both hands on the
steering wheel, with tense white knuckles. You’ll never find
a Cancer out on a speedway—not a full Cancer. They’re not
going to take any chances.
PREDICTIONS: Cancers will have a hard time adjusting to

Life
Themes
Sylvia often teaches us
that we each have unique
life themes. She defines them
as the purposes we choose when
we come into life to perfect. “Everyone has a
theme, and we all experience it individually,
because we’re all unique in the way we view and
feel things.”
In each issue, Sylvia will elaborate on one
theme. She asks that you read it carefully and
meditate quietly on it. If it springs out at you
and makes more sense than others, then more
than likely, this is your primary theme.
Patience
I
f we have patience, then our Theme, you can
bet, is not Patience. This Theme takes over,
like all Themes, the disposition of the mind. Most
individuals with the Theme of Patience will pick
bodies or dispositions in which they are impatient,
more so than with other Themes.
Those with a Theme of Patience may be
very introverted and have to be patient with
this temperament, when in essence, they want
to be extroverted. They will take on parents or
geographical locations that might seem impossible
to other Themes.
The person with the Theme of Patience
entrenches deeper and seems to want to perfect
faster than most other Themes. They speak more
in terms of patience than others. “Please be patient
with them,” they will say. Be patient with her/him/
them/it, and on and on it goes.
Those with a Theme of Patience also carry
great amounts of guilt when they feel they have
been impatient. They should guard against
moroseness though, because this being such an
internal theme, it lends itself to self-debasement
and often suppressed anger.
To choose a life in which to try and perfect
this Theme of Patience is difficult enough. As with
all Themes, the living through the circumstances
that we have chosen is enough of a burden. Being
more lenient or easier on oneself should suffice.

Meditations
Many people have told Sylvia that they
have trouble meditating. They don’t know
how to visualize, or they’ve tried to meditate
without much success. Sylvia says, “We can
receive messages through infusion, a process where a thought
appears in our minds. Many times we wonder where it comes
from. Simply put, when we quiet the constant chatter of our minds,
we open our channels to unseen, loving companions along the
pathway of our lives.” Below is a meditation for you from Sylvia
to ease your challenges and bring you closer to divine guidance:
Reinventing Yourself
Imagine a purple flame right in the middle of your solar plexus. Ask for the grace of God to start coming down through the
very top of your head, as if you are in an inverted pyramid. The
bottom is closed off to negativity, and the top is open to spirituality and grace.
I want to give you a code word now—the word blue. During
the week, any time you get agitated or feel bad, say the word blue.
This code word will relax you, calm you down, and make you feel
at peace and unstressed.
Close your eyes and take yourself back to age ten. You
don’t need a special day, but you could choose one if you wish.
Christmas or a Birthday would be nice. Did you make any resolutions? What happened to them? Was there anything you wish
you had done? Or perhaps something you thought you had to do?
Whatever it is, release it now. Let it go. This age is very pivotal; it
is when your individuality begins to rise up.
At age ten, what did you look like? How did you act? What
were you doing? Were you bright? Did you act stupid? Did you
feel good, bad, guilt-ridden, scrupulous, frightened, abused? Did
you care about things, or did you feel apathetic? It doesn’t matter;
release it all. The only expectation to keep is that you are going
to fulfill your theme; keep your spirit guide around you; and be
loyal, grateful, loving, and caring. Cleanse yourself now.
Take yourself to any age, and release the expectations that
you had at that time. Take some time and relive each age—release
any illness that started, any heaviness or load you began to carry.
Let go of any feeling that you may have hurt someone; they wrote
that contract with you. The road of your own experience has been
long, but it can be joyful.
On the count of three, bring yourself all the way out, feeling
absolutely marvelous.
