The Zeller Award!
President Al Becker (pictured with incoming President, Kay Lancaster) has received this year’s
Walter Zeller Presidential Award!
With a donation of twenty-five Canadian silver dollars,
Walter Zeller dropped into the soil a few seeds that blossomed into the Kiwanis International Foundation. And
today it only takes a few gifts like Zeller’s—in the form of
tetanus vaccinations—to help remove maternal and neonatal tetanus from the face of the Earth. MNT is on the brink
of elimination.
Walter Zeller Fellows are recognized with a medallion,
certificate and commemorative lapel pin—and, most importantly, the knowledge they helped fill almost seven hundred lives with unlimited possibilities. Our Kiwanis club
presidents dedicate their lives to serving their clubs, their
communities and children around the world.
Congratulations, Al, and thank you for your service to
Kiwanis!
