The Children's Fair
began in 1920. All
items sold at the
fair were made by
students.
Hanahau'oli School Children's Fair
Saturday, November 16, 10 am - 3 pm.
Children's Fair
preparations are in full
swing! Our four hardworking navigators have
charted the course, and the
support crew is making
sure it is smooth sailing to
our destination.
Volunteers and donations
needed!
Volunteer sign-ups are
now on our school intranet
site, and committee chairs are asking
for donations of baked goods, craft
supplies, White Elephant items,
produce, food and drinks.

names. Some ideas from the group
include: Tidal Treasures (White
Elephant); Hoku Bake Sale; Keep it
Country Store; and Paniolo Parade
(Pony Rides).
Also new this year - mochi waffles or
"maffles," courtesy of 6th grade parent
Pei Tung Wu. The maffles will be
made to order using waffle irons.
Maffle mix will also be available for
sale.
Booth names and fair map to fit the
voyaging theme
Students will be helping to create a
new Fair map so visitors can know all
there is to do. Committee chairs
Bakers, set your ovens!
Make your favorite treat for this
year's bake sale! Please ask
your extended 'ohana and
friends too, and have fun baking
together while supporting the
school.
