We are very happy the Lord has led us very far. As all of you understand, this has been a challenging year to us, at a time we count the loss of things due to fire outbreak. As we come closer to cover 6 months in this year 2016, we are happy to say, with God all things are possible. Thank you for the time your closer to us,tomorrow is Fathers Day, join me to remember the children that are in sorrowful manner, those that are missing parental love especially fathers love, only because their fathers died or they are jailed, they are sorronded with low income, poor environment, poor networking, divorce, hatred, lack of responsibility, those who are out of wedlock, academic stature, whereby illiterate parents take education as nothing to their children, cruelity among others. We know that we have many areas that affect child either in one way or the other, that is why you and we have come to Mercy Home and we shelter children of 5 categories; 1. Orphans, 2. Neglect 3. Street children, 4. Vulnerable 5.Sexual abuse. These children who are brought to our institution, they are having a high hope for their better future, fast they are well sheltered, educated, surrounded with good care and hope to have modern facilities for the good care of this children. For them to achieve all this, we depend on partner friends like you. Thank you for devoting yourself to help this institution. The most wicked place that affect our institution, is financial area, at a time is not easy. So, thank you for your love and contributions, the mentioned particulars as shelter, education and building projects, we salute you, we love you, welcome and feel so happy to help us in this institution. We have 51 children in number, hope in July we will be sending you the pictures of this children per child. Remember the project of the building we haven’t covered yet, welcome.- On the side of food we are very low, so remember us too. Thank You and have a good Sunday. THANKS EDWARD AND MERCY HOME FAMILY INVITATION TO DONATE TO THE COLUMBIA FOOD BANK If each adult member could contribute one or two non-perishable food items each month, we could help the Food Bank a great deal all year. Food is distributed to the needy on Tuesday and Wednesday each week. There is a bucket located in the narthex for cash donations. Cash donations are used to purchase much needed dairy and perishable products. Please place all monetary donations in the marked bucket in the Narthex. Donations can be made in cash or by check. Please make checks out to the Columbia Food Bank. All food donations can be placed in the baskets. Thanks! Tom Robinson 2 TRUCC HAPPENINGS Deacon Meeting—Sunday, July 3rd at 9:45am in the Meeting Room. Blood Drive—Wednesday, July 6th from 1:00—6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Why give blood? The need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply...and you’ll feel good knowing you helped save a life! The Mountville Lions Club has snacks and refreshments available and are very supportive and friendly. For an appointment please visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-red-cross (1-800-733-2767). Consistory Meeting—Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30 pm. All are welcome to attend. TRUCC Rummage Sale—Friday, July 22nd from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00—8:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). Instead of charging a set price per item. All sales are by donation. Donations of summer items are appreciated. NO FURNITURE ACCEPTED. We need volunteers to help set-up in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday July 20th and during the sale.
