Let us beseech the Lord to grant us peaceful days, free from coercion and fear, in order to be good American citizens and faithful Catholics. I encourage you to attend Mass on Monday at 8:00 a.m. to pray for our nation. The parish offices and the Conesa Center will be closed in observance of the holiday. Please welcome to our parish Father Paul Ngaoni, a priest of the Archdiocese of Imphal, India, which is also Father Augustine’s home archdiocese. Father Paul is presently studying Canon Law at the Catholic University of Louven in Belgium. For the summer months, he is working through an internship with our diocesan tribunal and will be available for weekend sacramental assistance here. As Father Augustine is away this weekend preaching a mission appeal on behalf of the Imphal Archdiocese, please keep the success of his appeal in your prayers. Thank you to the members of the Council of Catholic Women who sponsored a Bingo luncheon last Thursday for the benefit of a new set of votive candles for the statue of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta which will be installed in the church this upcoming fall after her canonization. The dedicated work of the CCW is always a blessing to our parish and I encourage all women of the parish to consider membership. Happy Independence Day! May the Lord bless you, your families and our nation – Father Kovanis Prayers Parish Prayer Line In Memoriam Of all the souls of the faithful departed. If you or a loved one are ill or awaiting surgery, contact our Parish Prayer Line so that our priests and parishioners can pray for your intentions. Boxes are filled with cereal, fruits, vegetables (including beans, tomatoes, and potatoes), soup, pasta, sauce, rice, meat, and bread, and often some baked goods and snacks. Most recently, we have had fresh produce, as well.” Tom and Anita Bullaro Our Lady’s Pantry is located south of Sun City Center Blvd. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Migrant Mission, Wimauma. We are in front of the classroom building on the far right-hand corner of the campus.
