AIISH Mysore and IIT Guwahati have common academic interests and seek to develop
collaborationsand exchangesin fields of shared interest and expertise, ffid the two institutions
agreeon the following terms and conditions:
1. Cooperationshall be pursuedin the following areas:
promote researchand developmentactivities.
?. Exchangingfaculty, researchersto
b. Pursuing avenuesfor studentexchangeof researchinternship during the academicyear
or summerterms.
c. Exchangingacademicinformation and materials.
d. Arranging collaborative researchopportunities,seminars,meetings, lectures, and other
exchangeand cooperationactivities to which both institutions agree.
e. Collaborative research areas include the academic fields of speech and hearing,
linguistics and phonetics,and bio-medical signal and image processingas examples.
2. The two institutions recognize that the implementation of any agreed upon activity will
depend on the interests and expertise of the individuals involved and the availability of
financial resources, space and other resources.Accordingly, the implementation of any
exchangeand cooperationbasedon this MOU shall be separatelynegotiatedand determined
betweenthe two institutions.

3. This MOU will become effective when signed by both institutions. The agreementwill
remain in effect for five years from the signature date below, and may be renewed or
amended by mutual agreementsof the institutions. The institutions agree to periodically
review the activities undertaken and progress made and to consult with each concerning
amendments,renewal or termination of this MOU. Either institution may terminate this
MOU any time by providing written notice of such termination to the other institution.
