Vision Design Group, Inc. provides professional

and local customers. Located in Toledo, Ohio, Vision has
been providing plumbing, piping, and sewer design; heating,
ventilation and cooling design; and electrical power and
lighting design since 1998. As of 2008 Vision has expanded

RAY M. MILLER, P.E.
President / CEO
Principal / Engineering Studio Manager
Mr. Miller’s experience includes design of process piping,
plumbing, fire protection, heating, ventilation, and air
conditioning systems. His experience encompasses a
variety of building structures, to include: commercial,
educational, industrial, institutional, municipal, and
residential facilities, as demonstrated in our Client Profile.
An extensive knowledge of fluid mechanics enables Mr.
Miller to design optimal engineering systems involving
air, gas, oil, steam, water, sewage, and slurries.
Additionally, Mr. Miller’s expertise includes the
computation of cooling and heating loads and the
selection of HVAC systems (including: constant volume,
multi-zone, VAV, split-systems, chilled water, hot water,
steam, and energy recovery).
As President and CEO of Vision Design Group, Inc., Mr.
Miller plays an active role in every project that the firm
completes. His direct involvement with the client is
vital to the maintenance of project focus, integrity, job

Mr. Patrick is a registered architect with more that fortythree years experience in facility programming and
design; urban design and master planning; landscape

teaching and administration. He joins Vision Design
Group, Inc. following a successful practice in Toledo
where he designed several new schools and sites, as well
as, consulting on housing and community development
in Detroit, MI and on K-12 and university projects
throughout the United States.
Mr. Patrick has served in both private- and public- sector
capacities in the northeast and is acutely aware of the
expectations of public- and private-sector clients and the
role the design professional plays in satisfying those
needs. He project portfolio includes rapid transit and
multi-nodal facilities; K-12 and university buildings;
historic preservation and cultural resource planning for
public buildings and neighborhoods; medium-density
