This fast-paced one-act careens toward
the edge of madness as it probes the
fractured psyche of one of Tennessee
Williams’ most fascinating characters,
Blanche Dubois. Exploring hallucination
and the shadowy corners of the brain,
this rarely produced, experimental draft
led to the masterpiece, A Streetcar
Named Desire.
