Skilled in the manual arts

Proficient in needlework,
ceramics and other related

While the role of the Corps

and process the large masses

Many new techniques and
methods not now in existance
Popular Dry Goods Company's
will have to be developed to
meet these requirements.
When the extent and complexily of the ARTRAC job
and the number of agencies
involved are understood, the
need for the highest order of
cooperation is imperative.
The requirement of coordinating three military agencies - - Ordnance, Signal,
and Engineers - - served fr om
three differPnt military budgets is extremely formidable.
By compar ison, coordinating the effort of the contractors is relatively easy. To
accomplish this task -0f coordination, a series of ARTRAC
engineering meetings involving all agencies is planned
[or the near futur e.
After a recent bri efing
given him on ARTRAC, General Laidlaw commented,
"A:RTRAC is a big program.
No one individual or single
range agency can think of
everything tha t needs to go
in it or be coordinated about
it."
"The general staff can h elp
considerably and should be
consulted about major ARTRAC actions."
This is certainly true -ARTRAC is now a total range
prognam.
In the concl uding article
on ARTRAC, the current
status of ARTRAC and its
future prospects will be discussed.
