We have had an exciting year
here at Caroline’s Cakes!
The completion of our expansion to South
Carolina brought much excitement as we
continued our daily baking and decorating
of cakes in Annapolis, MD and began
baking and shipping from our new
‘Corporate Headquarters’ here in
Spartanburg, SC. It is so hard to believe
in the past ten years we have come from
the kitchen in my house, to our bakery in
Annapolis and now to a second location in
South Carolina.
What a journey, what a story!
Each and every one of you has been such
a part of our life at Caroline’s Cakes. I know you are as excited as we are as we
look ahead to embrace the new challenges in front of us.
This year we have a few delicious additions to our selection of traditional cakes for
you to choose from. The 7-Layer Caramel Cake continues to be our most popular
cake by far. We never go a day without someone telling us this is the cake their
grandmother made, or sharing with us the memories its time-honored flavor brings
back to them. Our Christmas Caramel with its buttercream icing and seasonal green
and red chocolate dots still holds its celebrity status after being one of the ‘Favorite
Things’ in The O Magazine last year. Our newest 7-Layer Lemon has been a
smashing success as it moves up the ladder to become one of your favorites.
The Carrot Caramel Delight continues to be called ‘The Best Carrot Cake in the
World’ by so many of you. Experiencing this response to these wonderful old recipes
we are staying so true to, just delights us beyond belief. This past year we also
became very playful with our celebratory cakes as we began decorating them with our
chocolate dots…….birthday cakes, cakes with chocolate dots for school colors, team
colors, sorority colors, or just letting you choose your own colors of chocolate
dots. Every one becomes a decorator as that extra special touch is added to every
celebration. From the traditional foods at our deli you will see all of your favorite
selections with a few new choices. Our Carolina style Barbeque and sauces, our
famous Low Country Dip, Southern Cheese Biscuits, Pee Dee River Pecans and
Carolina Plantation Peanuts make wonderful additions to any gathering.
And our crab cakes are still surpassing our expectations with so many repeat
customers. This is our favorite time of the year as we hear from all of you!

SHIPPING
We ship to all 50 States via UPS. Your items are packaged with the greatest care to ensure
a safe arrival. Items that must be kept cold are shipped frozen in a cooler with Dry Ice/Ice Packs.
All perishable items arrive within 2 days of shipment. The Maximum number of cakes that are able to
be shipped in one package is three. Any order exceeding three cakes may be shipped in multiple
packages. We ship Mon-Wed for all customers within our 2 day area, and Mon-Thurs for all 1 day and
Overnight customers. Friday we ship Saturday/overnight delivery.
We regret we are unable to ship Overnight to Alaska or Hawaii. We are not able to ship to any
PO Box, APO/FPO, US Territory, or to other countries.

more than 3 million people in the United States report being allergic to peanuts, tree

Caroline’s Cakes is an established nut-free bakery and has been recognized by the
food allergy initiative in 1998. All products and cakes that contain nuts are made and
