Connection Guide - Trading Software
Introduction
Please be informed that this Connection Guide works for all accounts related to CQG (e.g. Optimus)
To use AgenaTrader the following two points are essential:
1. The connection to a broker.
2. The connection to a datafeed provider.
In this case CQG places both at your disposal.
Please Note!
CQG only offers a small amount of data histories it is recommended to use a separate datafeed provider
(e.g. TeleTrader / IQFeed / Barchart).
Reference software
INFO:
Please note, the reference software of the broker, in this case QTrader, is a necessary control platform,
if you use LIVE ACCOUNTS.
IMPORTANT:
Dual Login is not possible! You cannot use the CQG account with AgenaTrader and QTrader simultaneously.
If you want to control your AgenaTrader trades within Q Trader, you have to disconnect the CQG connection of
AgenaTrader first.
Important information concerning the reference software
