The District’s bricks and mortar are being taken care of for years to come thanks to your vote in November that passed a $50 million capital levy. That funding supports systems to ensure safety and security in our schools, building maintenance, and enhanced learning spaces. Construction and maintenance work has begun District-wide and in three of our school sites this summer. Work at the remaining sites is scheduled for the next two years. NONPROFIT ORG. U.S. POSTAGE PAID CIRCLE PINES, MN PERMIT NO. 8 Scholarships Awarded THE OBSERVER There is a renewed sense of pride throughout all of our schools, and recent surveying of the community shows the highest public trust in the history of the District. DISTRICT OFFICE 4707 NORTH ROAD CIRCLE PINES MN 55014 development THANK YOU! Centerville Elementary is the recipient of a $500 grant from ExxonMobil, a new business in Centerville. The owner nominated the school and showed his support with a donation of car washes for the annual gala event. OPERATION NO LIMITS Operation No Limits was founded by Joe, a teacher at the Pines School, and Lori, a substitute teacher, with a vision of enhancing the lives of students at the Pines School through education, positive experiences and life and social skills development. Visit operationnolimits.org to learn more. Students and staff couldn’t experience all of these great things without you. The accomplishments of our high performing district are the result of your tax dollars at work to support our students. A portion of these tax dollars is scheduled to expire in July 2016 and that equates to a loss of $3.24 million annually. When these funds sunset the school district will need to make significant reductions. WHAT WOULD THE LOSS OF $3.24 MILLION LOOK LIKE FOR FAMILIES AND STUDENTS? Without the continued resources the quality and environments will be impacted. Programs that support all learners will be reduced SCHOOL!
