NOTE: The Domjahn family have farmed on this farm since the
1930’s by Rodney’s parents Alfred and Delores, with Rodney, Shirley
and their family operating the farm since 1967. Now the Domjahns
have decided to discontinue the dairy portion of their farming
operation and disperse their registered herd of Holstein cattle at
auction. The Roselund prefix came to be as a combination of their
proximity to Montrose, MN and Rodney’s mother’s love of roses
that are planted in abundance around the farm site. The Domjahn’s
goal has been to produce sound functional cattle that will work
in any environment while combining pedigree with production.
Foremost in the minds of Rodney and Shirley was the incorporation
of their family into the day-to-day farming operation. The children
were actively involved in 4H and the whole family showing at local,
