La «Kilbième des Editions» und es
wird Sommer! Ein bisschen heisses
Vergnügen in einer schönen Zeit
in der wir leben und oft gar keine
haben.
Die bekannten Namen sind die verschiedenen Farben der Lichterkette.
Es leuchten My Bloody Valentine,
The Flaming Lips, Grizzly Bear oder
Jozef van Wissem & Jim Jarmusch.
Sie alle haben Musik und Geschichten geschrieben, sind weit gereist
und haben Filme gesehen. Sie
wären wohl auch selber auf die Idee
gekommen Thee Oh Sees, Liars,
Death Grips, Jandek und Kurt Vile
einzuladen. Einige unserer lokalen
und nationalen Lieblinge wie Julian
Sartorius, Rotkeller, Domi Chansorn,
Evelinn Trouble oder Minimetal gehören wie die Kilbi zu Dan Deacon,
Gold Panda, Andy Stott, Fucked Up
oder Bass Drum Of Death. Die Veröffentlichungen der Allah Las, von
Camera oder Trust gehören zu den
allerbesten und grössten Entdeckungen im 2012. Das ganze Programm
liest sich wie weitergesagt, und so
ist es auch. Was will man mehr, da
passt alles zusammen wie selten
zuvor. Alle sind gemeinsam gross.
Das ist familiär, kitschig, brachial,
klein, laut, entspannt, elektronisch,
gigantisch, Bad Bonn und Musik auf
dem Dorfplatz und Überall. Fitz, Fett
und Marcelle, so klingend Namen
tragen die PlattenlegerInnen am
Schluss.
Da wird was los sein auf dem Tanzboden, oder wo der Zauber euch
einholt. Das ist die Kilbi, das ist
die Kilbi und das ist die Kilbi. Sonst
ist uns alles irgendwie egal. Wir
widersetzen uns der Spezialisierung.
Das Publikum überragt das gesamte
Wissen von Popmusik und Mode.
Die Sklaven sind die Hipsters. Mit
ihrem Style, Witz, Charme und einer
Prise Politik in Gemeinsamkeit mit
den unabsichtlich schlecht Angezogenen wird das die schönste Party
die was erzählt.
Letztlich ist uns nichts wichtiger,
als das Erledigen von vielen Arbeiten mit dem Gedanken unsere
Kilbi zu mögen, dem Malheur eins
auszuwischen und uns bei euch
allen und unseren grossartigen
und freiwilligen HelferInnen ganz
herzlich zu bedanken. Das wird ein
Fest, und «unsere Musik» wird für
euch zum Thema.
Immer wieder: Unkommerziell und
geldgierig. Wie immer: Rock’n’Roll,
was sonst!

Ils ont tous écrit de la musique et
des histoires, ils ont beaucoup voyagé et vu des films. Ils auraient sans

Death. Les albums des Allah Las,
de Camera et de Trust sont parmi
les meilleures découvertes de l’an
2012. L’ensemble du programme
se lit comme un truc qu’on se
raconte, et c’est ce qui est en train
de se faire. Que vouloir de plus,
puisque tout tient ensemble comme
rarement auparavant. Ensemble, ils
seront tous grands. C’est familier, kitsch, brutal, petit, bruyant,
détendu, électronique, gigantesque,
Bad Bonn et de la musique sur la
place du village et partout. Fitz,
Fett et Marcelle, autant de jolis
noms pour les mixeurs de disques
qui boucleront les soirées. Bien des
choses vont se passer sur la piste
de danse ou à l’endroit où la magie
vous rattrapera.
Tout ça, c’est Kilbi, Kilbi et encore
Kilbi. Le reste ne nous préoccupe
pas tant que ça. Nous nous opposons à la spécialisation, car notre
public est plus grand que l’ensemble
des connaissances de la musique
pop et de la mode. Les hipsters sont
les esclaves. Avec leur style, esprit,
charme et leur brin de politique en
commun, ensemble avec ceux qui
sont involontairement mal habillés,
cela deviendra la plus belle fête qui
a des choses à dire.
En fin de compte, rien n’est plus
important pour nous que l’accomplissement des nombreuses tâches
avec l’idée d’aimer notre Kilbi, de
chasser le malheur et de dire sincèrement merci à nos magnifiques
bénévoles, et à vous tous. Merci
de participer à cette célébration où
« notre » musique deviendra votre
sujet.

summer are coming! A little bit of
hot pleasure in the good times we
live in but often can’t find.
Some well-known names symbolize
the different colors in a chain of
lights. My Bloody Valentine, The
Flaming Lips, Grizzly Bear and Jozef
van Wissem & Jim Jarmusch shine
bright. They’ve all written music,
accumulated stories, traveled far
and wide, and have seen numerous
films. They probably would have
come up with the idea to invite
Thee Oh Sees, Liars, Death Grips,
Jandek and Kurt Vile all by themselves. Some of our local and national favorites such as Julian Sartorius,
Rotkeller, Domi Chansorn, Evelinn
Trouble or Minimetal belong to
us like the Kilbi does to Dan
Deacon, Gold Panda, Andy Scott,
Fucked Up or Brass Drum of Death.
The releases of Allah Las, Camera
or Trust are among the biggest and
the best discoveries of 2012. The
entire program speaks for itself
and is exactly what it’s intended
to be. There’s nothing more to ask
for; everything fits as it’s rarely
done before. All the greats are
coming together. There’s a familiar
atmosphere to it: tacky, brutish,
small, loud, relaxed, electronic,
gigantic, – Bad Bonn and music on
the village square and everywhere.
Fitz, Fett and Marcelle are the
names of the record spinners at the
end. All hell will break loose on the

dance-floor and wherever you are,
the magic will catch up with you.
That’s the Kilbi, that’s the Kilbi and
that’s the Kilbi. Somehow, we don’t
care about anything else. We are
opposed to specialization. The audience surpasses the accepted knowledge of pop music and fashion. The
hipsters are the slaves. With their
style, wit, charm and a hint of politics on a common ground with the
un-deliberately, badly dressed, this
is going to be the most beautiful
party a story can tell.
In the end, nothing is more important to us than completing many
tasks with our beloved Kilbi in mind.
We thank all of you and above all,
our volunteers, with all our heart.
This is going to be a celebration and
“our music” will be your theme.
