Secretary Ben Simons 603-1571 [email protected] Treasurer Alvin Strasburger 791-7763 [email protected] Sgt. @ Arms Vacant Bulletin Editor Dean Wood 414-7597 [email protected] Guest Speaker ~ Phil Kornblut treated our die-hard sports fans with an in-depth review of recruiting for the major, and not-so-major colleges and universities in South Carolina. Phil stated that Clemson, with 25 signees, looked good top to bottom. USC lost three highlyregarded quarterbacks but recruited four new running backs and will have the most impressive group of receivers in years. (not just receivers of stolen goods.ed’s words) Phil even knows a recruit with “a size 18 shoe, who could be big”, which garnered a few snickers. OK, I snickered. Even a guy like me, who cares as much about shoe sizes as sports, has to be impressed with anyone who has Sergeant @ Arms Report achieved Phil’s level of knowledge about his 47 Members and 11 guests attended, & topic, even if it is “just” sports. The $39.03 Pot was WON By John Alam. Unashamed.... Page 3 Membership Applications Final Postings Please address comments to an officer or board member.
