On Tuesday May 3, 2012, a
group of five people from
CAB attended a peace and
diversity festival at the
Wilfred Laurier campus in
downtown Brantford. The
theme of the day was social
inclusion in the community.
Social inclusion refers to
having an open community
that spends time together with people of
all cultures and walks
of life. The major point
emphasized during the
day was all people
should be accepted in
our community no mat-
ter who you are or where
you are from. The event
took place outside on a
beautiful spring day and the
group took advantage of the
nice weather by going to a
park after the festival to
discuss the day’s events.
Everyone in the group had
positive feedback about the
festival and enjoyed the
learning experience.

We are beginning our countdown for the big track meet on
July 17, 2011. All athletes have
been practicing hard Wednesday and Friday evening at Lions Park in Brantford. We are
all very excited about the upcoming event and are eating
healthy and drinking plenty of
water to keep our bodies
healthy.
Parent Interviews Were A Great Success
Sherrie Marshall

All parents were invited to
attend client progress update sessions introducing
our “New Specialized Programming” and tour the
new facility. While on the
tours families were introduced to all the program
instructors as well as get a
glimpse of the changes that
each classroom has undergone, including the new
“Smart Board” in the class-
room. The tours were very
informative and the feedback from the people who
toured the facility has been
positive. Everyone appears
to be encouraged by changes made at CAB over the last
several weeks.

Men In Black 3 Is Out Of This World
Jeff Terry
Chronicle Entertainment
The number one movie in
the universe is Men in
Black 3. The movie stars
Will Smith and Tommy
Lee Jones, two men who
protect Earth from the
scum of the universe. In
the movie, an enemy from
Agent K`s (Tommy Lee
Jones) past escapes from a
moon prison to get his
revenge by going back to
1969. It is up to Agent J
(Will Smith) to go back
in time to save his partner. The movie gets two
thumbs up and has a
surprise ending. Will
Smith did a memorable
song for this movie.
Look forward to my next
article when I discuss the
recently released Snow
White and the Huntsman.

Crossing All Bridges Farm Report
Nancy Sales
Agriculture Columnist
This year’s dry, hot weather
early in the growing season
and wet moist weather recently has left farmers shaking
their heads on what Mother
Nature will do next. Fortunately the corn and soybean
crops have not suffered because of the weather. Wheat is
susceptible to
army worm around this time
of year and it is critical that
you spray with fungicide to
avoid crop loss. Strawberry
season is just around the corner beginning later in June,
roughly when school ends.
