decision to build a new branch in Tyler. As a result of careful consideration
and professional consultation we determined the location along the
South Broadway corridor would be the most beneficial for our members.
The purchase of the land is completed. We expect to start construction
in January 2012, with the completion in September 2012. I invite each of
you to join in the excitement of the new branch and follow the progress

It’s a year of new beginnings for Telco Plus, and time for our Annual Meeting! We’ll
have a recap of the last year, including all of the changes we’ve gone through, and
we’ll tell you what we have in store for 2012.
Board Election: Jessie Nichols, Bill Thompson and Joni Bailey will be up for re-election, all for 3-year terms.
Reminder: you must be present prior to 7:00pm to get your ticket to be eligible for the door prizes.
The hopper closes at 7:00pm.
In October, Telco Plus hosted the First Annual Reality Fair for the students of Pine Tree Junior High. Students were
put through financial exercises on budgeting. Each student chose a career and had to make basic life decisions
based on their income. They were also tempted by extras, such as electronics.
This event was featured in news stories on KLTV, CBS 19 and the Longview News-Journal. We’ll
host another Reality Fair for the High School students of Pine Tree on February 20, 2012.
