BARBADOS has declared 2011 the year of Culture and History 23rd – 30th May 2011 The Celtic Festival celebrates the culture of the early Barbadian settlers, many of whom were Scottish, Irish and Welsh. For the last week in May, Barbadians join with Celts from all over the world in sharing the culture, the heritage and music shared by these countries.
