INTRODUCTION
In this document we collect all reports of the project appearing in the media. We separate the news
dependingonthecountry.Thisfirstpressreleasecoversthepresentationoftheprojecttothegeneral
audience.Forthatreasontechnicaldetailsofthesolutionarenothighlyreflectedinthisdissemination
report.Inthispressreleasethemainobjectivewastoindicatethestartingoftheprojectandthemain
objectivesofit.Hence,thetechnicalexplanationincludeinallnewsaretheoneabletobeunderstand
byallkindofaudiences.
Moreover,allthesedocumentationwillbealsopublishedandcontinuouslyupdatedalongtheprojectat

TURKEY
Theleadbeneficiaryofthistask,AEGEANhasdisseminatedtheprojecttodifferentregionalandnational
newspapersofTurkey.AllnewscorrespondstoaninterviewtothechairmanofAEGEANregardingthe
startingoftheENTOMATICproject.Inthisspeechtechnicalcommentshasbeenavoided.

“AfterthesignatureofthegrantagreementwiththeEuropeanCommission,EntomaticProjectactivities
designedtofightagainstthedamageolivefruitsduetoinsectinfestationshavestartedinpartnership
withAegeanOliveOliveOilExportersAssociation.WiththisProjectfundedundertheEurope’sbiggest
research fund; 7th Framework Program, it is aimed to develop a new trap technology to be used to
preventthedamageofolivefliesonolivefruits;increasethevolumeandqualityofharvestproducts;
reducing the cost of the chemicals to the producers by eliminate over usage of insecticides and
increasingcompetitivenessofthepartneringcountries”
