Funny Money
Comedy/Farce | July 22 - August 3, 2014
Well, what would you do with a briefcase, mistakenly picked up,
full of hard cash? Our favorite British farceur takes aim at corrupt cops, the middle class and a loony Cooney cab driver. Lies
upon lies pile up until an avalanche of laughs overwhelms the
whole pie-throwing pants-dropping, door-slamming spectacle.
Written by Ray Cooney, Directed by Guy Stroman

The Marvelous Wonderettes
Musical Comedy | June 17 - 29, 2014
This smash off-Broadway hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield
High School prom to meet the Wonderettes, four girls with
hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts! We learn
about their lives and loves and are treated to classic songs like
"Lollipop," Dream Lover," Stupid Cupid," "Lipstick on your
Collar," "It's My Party," and many more. It's all the fun of the

Joseph & the Amazing
Technicolor Dream coat
Musical Comedy | July 8 - 20, 2014
It's the return of the big musical for the Mountain Playhouse
75th Anniversary! Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber will rock onto the
stage with the timeless story of Joseph, the cosseted favorite
son in the land of Canaan, who is sold into slavery by his jealous
brothers and ends up in the court of the Egyptian pharaoh. Let
your spirits soar with the lively songs and rich humor of this
uplifting tale.
Lyrics by Tim Rice Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Directed by Chan Harris, Choreographed by Jacob A. Toth
You won't soon forget this heartfelt autobiographical story of
Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his
career, and Morrie Shwartz, his former college professor.
Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie's
appearance on a television news program and learns that his old
professor is battling Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS). Mitch is reunited with Morrie, and what starts as a simple visit turns into a
weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life.

Driving Miss Daisy
Comedy | September 16 - 28, 2014
In 1950s Atlanta, Miss Daisy is aging none too gracefully. When
her son insists on hiring a driver, her waning independence is a
thorn, both in her side and that of her driver, a quietly dignified
black man on whom she must increasingly rely. Their story,
rich in humor and human discovery, earned Alfred Uhry the
Pulitzer Prize and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best
Off-Broadway Play. A film version starring Jessica Tandy and
Morgan Freeman won four Oscars, including Best Picture and
Best Actress in 1989.

Midlife! The Crisis Musical

You’ll love this wacky musical that takes a comic look at the
inescapable changes faced in mid-life. From reading glasses and
mammograms to weekend warriors and proctology exams – all
are lampooned with a Saturday Night Live non-sensibility. Everyone will relate to this hilarious, and at times, touching musical
about the curiosities and inevitabilities of middle-age.
Book, Music and Lyrics Written by Bob Walton and Jim Walton
Directed by Chan Harris, Choreographed by Jacob A. Toth
