Social Security July 5—17
Romantic Comedy | By Andrew Bergman
This hilarious Broadway comedy centers around a married couple who are art dealers. Their domestic tranquility is
shattered upon the arrival of the wife's goody goody nerd of a sister, her uptight CPA husband, and her archetypal Jewish Mother. They are there to try to save their college student daughter from the horrors of living only for sex. The
comic sparks really begin to fly when the mother hits it off with the elderly artist who is the art dealer's best client!
Too Many Cooks July 19 — July 31
Comedic Farce | By Douglas E. Hughes and Marcia Kash
It’s 1932 and bootlegging is at its peak. Irving and his daughter, Honey, are preparing for the opening of their gourmet
restaurant in Niagara Falls, Canada. When their featured famous French chef fails to appear, things quickly turn into a
recipe for disaster. It only gets worse when they persuade an unemployed drifter to don the chef's hat and temporarily
step in. Mix in lots of doors, mistaken identities and some freshly baked salmon mousse and it’s only a matter of time
before this chaotic concoction boils over.
I Love You,You’re Perfect, Now Change Aug. 2 — Aug. 14
Musical Comedy | Book and Lyrics By Joe DiPietro; Music by Jimmy Roberts
Celebrate the mating game as we humorously explore the mystique of “the relationship.” Take a comic journey from
dating to the travails and triumphs of marriage and family life, to the pickup techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious
revue is for all who have loved, lost and dared to ask, “What are you doing Saturday night?”
Death Trap Sept. 2 0 — Oct. 2
Comedic Thriller | By Ira Levin
One of the great popular and Award-winning successes of recent Broadway history, this play offers a rare and skillful
blending of gasp-inducing thrills and spontaneous laughter. A down-on-his-luck playwright's student tells him he has
written the perfect suspense play and will bring it to the playwright's Connecticut home. The suspense over whether
the playwright will kill the student and take credit for his play forms the crux of this thriller, relentlessly providing
twists, turns and sudden shocks, holding the audience spellbound until the very last moment.
Cowgirls — The Musical Oct. 4 — Oct. 16
Musical Comedy | Conceived by Mary Murfitt, book by Betsy Howie, Music and Lyrics by Mary Murfitt
Grab your cowboy hat and boots and get ready for a honky-tonk romp! Cowgirls tells the story of Jo and her saloon in
Rexford, Kansas, staffed with sidekicks Mickey and Mo. To raise enough money to save Hiram Hall, Jo books the Cowgirl Trio to play a honky tonk performance sure to bring down the house. When the classical Coghill Trio shows up on
the saloon doorsteps booked by mistake, the female group must find their inner-twang and go from Chopin to country
and save the debt-ridden saloon from foreclosure!
