On Thursday 20 August six very excited young ladies climbed into the quantum
ready to participate in a much anticipated Junior Tennis Tournament at Sun City.
The team members for this tennis tournament were Ashley Drummond , Marina
Da Costa, Isabella Domiter, Botlhale Chanda, Jade Meyer and Gabriella Berimbau. Play began on Friday morning with their first game against Holy Rosary, the
girls played their best and their sportsmanship was wonderful. Their next game
was against St Stithian’s A once again they all brought their best game. On Saturday the girls played against St Stithian’s B. All the girls played well once again
and Marina Da Costa won her tennis match which excited and encouraged the
girls to play even better. On Sunday morning we had a very early start. Girls
were on the courts at 6:30 to play against St Mary’s A. All the players played
well and had good games. Later on that morning our girls played against St
Mary’s B where Ashley Drummond won her tennis match and Isabella Domiter
won her match. The girls were an absolute pleasure to watch and behaved themselves like true St Dominic’s ladies, there was even enough time for some fun in
the sun in the Valley of the waves and finding their way out of mazes. A wonderful time was had by all. We would like to thank Mrs Meyer for all her help and
encouragement, Mrs Van Dyk and St Dominic’s School for the opportunity to
participate in this wonderful tournament. A big thank you also to the parents
who joined us over the weekend to support and encourage their daughters.

The latest PTP project being the upgrade of the
bathrooms in the Jubilee hall is nearing completion, please take the time to have a look at
the bathrooms and change room. Thank you
to Mr. Van Dyk and his team for their efforts.
It does look amazing and we know the girls
and all the visitors will enjoy making use of
the new facilities.
CAMP OUT
2 OCTOBER 2015
It is camp out time and all are welcome.
Please bring your tents and come and enjoy a
fun filled evening for all. There will be activities for the kids and the whole family.
This year we will have a “Tea Garden” where
the adults can sit down and enjoy a Don Pedro, Irish coffee or Sherry.
A night to enjoy quality family time!
