Principal’s Message
Dear Parents,
Semester 2 is flying by! By the time we all get back from Spring
Break, we will almost be half way through the second
semester. We have had a very busy March with a packed
house for Parent Teacher Interviews, a Ski trip to Marmot
Basin. Students received medals at the Skills Canada
competitions, and we won the girls Rural Wrestling banner as
well as the Provincial banner. Our Basketball season wrapped
up, and handball and badminton are now underway, and our
Band received an honors award at the recent music festival in
Cold Lake. We are looking forward to an exciting April and
wish everyone a well earned Spring Break.
Sincerely,
Mr. Corey Baker

March 22, Lac La Biche - BCHS students and
Media Arts teacher Mr. Cowden attended the annual
Skills Canada competition held at Portage College.
Brennan Laing, Jenifer Smith, Madison Armagost,
Micah McLean, and J.R. Delamarter won Bronze and

Great job guys!
Lifelong Learning
Mr. Serner and Mr. Marcil
showed the students how
to boost a car in their
Science Class. They
talked about the electricity
that is exchanged, and the
students got to help.
Luckily, Ms. Burkholder’s
car was dead, so they had
a chance to try it out!
