Primex is proud to introduce its latest product, an encapsulated LipoSan Ultra® for weight
loss beverages and functional food. The new and unique weight loss ingredient is an
innovative development and line extension of Primex ordinary weight loss product, LipoSan
Ultra®, a patented product based on ChitoClear® chitosan and succinic acid. Chitosan has an
extraordinary ability to bind dietary fat, so it is not absorbed by the body.
The original product has been used as a food supplement for weight management since the
beginning of this century. LipoSan Ultra® chitosan is a dietary fiber and will as such improve
the nutritional value of the functional food consumed.
Application opportunities:
• The only chitosan weight management
product suitable for beverages.

chitosan based functional weight loss

• The encapsulation remains in weak acid
drinks, but breaks down in the stomach
