Floating Shelf Installation
NOTE: WEIGHT LIMIT IS 15 LBS.
Tools and Supplies Needed:

Power Drill
•
Level
•
Finish Nails or Small Wood Screws
•
2 ¼” Screws (provided)
•
Anchors (provided)
•
Small Touch Up Stick (provided)
1. Using a level, mount the cleat to the wall at your preferred height. Screws
have been provided. Use drywall or masonry anchors on holes that do not
go to into a stud.
2. Slide the shelf onto the cleat. We suggest that you use finish nails or small
wood screws on each end, either from the top or the bottom, to secure the
shelf to the cleat. These should be placed on the back edge close to the wall.
A small touch up stick has been provided to cover them if needed. Note: If
you fail to secure the shelf to the cleat, the shelf may shift or come off the cleat if it is
bumped. If using screws, you may wish to countersink them and pre-drill the shelf
to avoid splitting.
