The inspiration for the idea
comes from Shakespeare’s
Romeo and Juliet. The
units resemble an opening
flower, with each
cantilevering petal set out
at a different radius.
CCP designed, detailed and
manufactured the units as well
as helped to co-ordinate the
remainder of the project.
The school children cut out and
shaped the stars which were
cast into the petals.
The result is a unique and
contemporary design to inspire
the next generation of pupils.
