The LaserPLY product line includes flat dieboards, rotary dieboards and platforms. Our platforms are being used in birch core/maple face
and back flat dieboards, flat dieboards with a wood and polymer veneer combination, as well as core material for rotary dieboard production. All flat dieboards are available raw, UV-coated or melamine-coated in both clear and proprietary colors.
Every LaserPLY Dieboard exceeds industry standards set by the IADD and the ESU/EDA and, most importantly, by the hardworking individuals who daily make and cut dies and demand excellence in the dieboards they use. In the rare case you receive a dieboard out of specification, we’ll replace it for you free of charge.
For your convenience, Flat LaserPLY Dieboards come in a vast array of panel sizes and thicknesses—metric and imperial—to satisfy all
proprietary machinery, laser die cutting, corrugated, folding carton and stripping application needs. Whether you like to buy large and nest
your dies or buy small for easy in-house handling and no cutting or nesting, we deliver. If you don’t see it listed, just ask. We’ll have the size
you need custom-made for your application.

LaserPLY Premium – Zero defects, minimal color streak on both sides. Designed for the diemaker who requires the ultimate quality
assurance.
LaserPLY Advantage – Minimal defects and color streak on both sides. This is the industry-standard grade and the best value.
LaserPLY Advantage UVC – Minimal defects and color streak on both sides, UV-coating on both sides. This is the industry-standard
grade for UV-coated dieboards, offering stable moisture content and a smooth surface.
LaserPLY Platform – Proprietary grade developed by PG Wood Imports and used as substrate in flat maple and flat polymer combiconstruction dieboards. Thin LaserPLY Platforms are being used in rotary dieboard production and for other curved plywood components.
PG Wood Imports’ dieboards have been added to our family of products

Jazz is the ultimate creasing technology. Decades of experience have been applied to the development of Jazz. Precision engineered plastic shoulders, a micro thin polyester film
base and a profile registered locator are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Its unique curved profile shoulders allow substrate to glide easily over the matrix to allow
increased press speed, decreased substrate stretching and reduced make ready.
* Sizes for Kiss and Jazz are available in Standard, Large, Off-Centre, Mini, and Multi-Crease
** Some sizes of Jazz are also available in Quadra, with chamfered shoulders, to reduce stress and cracking on corrugated board.

Soft crease can bend or deform if not correctly inserted. Both hardnesses are available with a traditional profile: ellipitical top and flat bottom as well as a dual elliptical profile. The dual elliptical
rule has a radius which is twice the rule thickness. This shape allows either edge to be used for
scoring, produces well defined scores without cracking and will not splinter wood.

Functional Range of Motion
The only moving parts on a cutting die
are the ejection materials.
As with any moving mechanical or compressible
part, there is a maximum functional range of motion.
Once that range is exceeded, the item no longer
functions properly, which will lead to failure.
The chart above shows the maximum funtional
range of motion in green for each product. Once the
functional range is exceeded it enters the yellow
densification point where the rubber becomes a
solid, and can no longer compress. Go beyond this
point and the rubber will fail and break apart. For the
ejection rubber to work properly, it must remain within
the green functional range of motion.

for slots, trim breaker rubber and for punch ejector.
