AUCTION 101: SO MANY WAYS TO WIN!
Live Auction
Boutique
Paddle Raiser
Goody Bags
Enjoy browsing through the boutique where you’ll find
fantastic items at fantastic prices. Shop for
toys, games, jewelry, items for the home and more. Pay
using your bidder number or cash or a credit card for
boutique items.
Our Live Auction takes place from 8:45–9:45 (approx).
Grab a seat and BID WITH YOUR HEART! Live Auction
items are listed in this catalog, but be sure to check the
addendum handed out at the Auction for last-minute
additions.
Midway through the Live Auction, you will be given
an opportunity to raise your paddle and
contribute to support a special Anderson
School cause. You can decide how much you are
comfortable donating. This is a highlight of our Live
Auction and an emotional moment not to be missed.
There is added value if you work for a company with
a matching funds program: anything you contribute
during the Paddle Raiser can be matched dollar for
dollar by your employer — which, of course, doubles
your generosity. We hope you will participate. (If your
employer does have a matching funds program, please
contact Seong Chun [email protected] for
more information).
Buy a limited edition Anderson Auction
Goody Bag — and discover a treasure trove of
goodies inside! Each bag will contain swag for the whole
family to enjoy. Uncover the secrets within!
Live Auction Raffles
Only 100 tickets at $100 each will be sold for the Live
Auction Raffle. The winner will be drawn just before
the start of the Live Auction and can choose any
Live Auction package (including class projects).
You must notify [email protected]
prior to the auction with your Live Auction package
selection if you will NOT be in attendance. Otherwise,
please be prepared to select your Live Auction package
immediately if your name is called as the winner. Live
Auction Raffle tickets are available on a first-come,
first-served basis prior to the Auction and if sold out in
advance, may not be available for purchase the night of
the Auction. A minimum of 75 tickets must be sold for
the raffle to take place.
Silent Auctions
Items sold in our Silent Auctions are divided into four
Silent Auctions. Each auction may open during the day
on April 18th, but each one closes at a different
time prior to 8:45 pm. To place a bid in the Silent
Auction, simply check in to mobile bidding and then
enter the silent auction package number and bid. You
may enter a maximum bid, this will allow your bid to
go up in increments vs. other active bidders. You will
be notified if your maximum bid is, indeed, outbid! And,
you will know after the silent auction closes if you have
won any items.
Teacher Time Raffles
Enter for a chance for your child to be one of the lucky
few to enjoy special experiences and outings
ranging from a special after-hours “playdate” with his
or her teacher to running the school as Principal or
Vice Principal for a day. Teacher Time winners will be
announced by email after the auction. You DO NOT
have to be present to win.
Limited Silent Auction items may be purchased for a
“Buy-it-Now Price”. Note: for certain “sign-up” events,
there may be limited spaces, so it’s best to make those
a priority to bid on first, as they may sell out quickly.
AndersonGrams
Send a wonderful message to your favorite K–8th
grader! Messages of love will be delivered, along
with a special prize, at school. $15 per message.
Buy-It-Now Boards
Want to buy gift certificates for services, restaurants,
lessons, passes, entertainment at discounted prices?
Then be sure to visit the “Buy-it-Now Boards.” Unlike
Silent Auction items, Buy-it-Now items are sold on
a first-come-first-served basis for a set price, so get
there early! Just enter the item number through mobile
bidding and “buy it now”!

THE FINE PRINT
This auction is conducted by The Parents of PS334, Inc., (The Anderson
PTA) solely for the benefit of P.S.334, The Anderson School, in New York
City. Parents of P.S. 334, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation tax
ID 59-3826166. All items sold, raffled, given away, or otherwise conveyed
as part of this Auction are the property of the Parents of P.S.334, Inc.,

responsible or liable for this event.
Bidding in Absentia: Can’t make it to the Auction?
You can still participate by purchasing a ticket and
bidding via mobile on silent auction items! Email
[email protected] if you are interested in
bidding in absentia in the Live Auction.
Every reasonable effort has been made to describe each item correctly,
but all items are sold “where is” and “as is” and without warranty or
representation of any kind as to the correctness of description, authenticity,
conditions, or quality of fitness for any purpose. Any item not bid to a
satisfactory price may be withdrawn at the option of the Auctioneer. The
highest bidder for live auction items shall be deemed the winner. In the event
of a dispute among Live Auction bidders, the Auctioneer shall have the sole
and final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to re-offer and
re-sell the package in question.
Splitting Packages with Friends: Some packages
in the Live and Silent Auctions are suitable for group
bids. Coordinate with your friends in advance and
designate ONE person to bid on the group’s behalf.
If you desire, the winning price paid can then be split
among the bidders. Just approach the registration desk
if you wish to split a package and the winning bid will
be split and allocated on each group bidder’s receipt.
Unless otherwise specified, all Auction items must be redeemed from
merchants within one year of this event. Where applicable, dates and
times are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of donor and
buyer. Successful bidders who have purchased services or
vacation homes donated by Anderson parents should make
preliminary contact with the donor within four weeks of this
event. It will be the responsibility of winning bidders to ensure that there
is no damage done to private homes donated by friends and parents of
The Anderson School. Please take the opportunity to thank each
donor when using certificates. We rely on the goodwill of donors
and merchants to make the auction a success each year, and we will be
soliciting from them again. If they have gained a new customer, they’re more
likely to donate again.
“Green” Paddles: Our reusable paddles MUST be
turned in at the end of the evening or you will incur a
$15 charge.
Check-Out and Item Pickup: Check-Out will
open approximately 30 minutes after the Live Auction
ends. Simply pick up your invoice and go directly to Item
Pickup. You must check out and collect your
winnings other than Boutique items. If you
need to leave early, we will do our best to accommodate
you, but you must email: Barbara Yam by2588@yahoo.

traitor brother who stole his throne and settle the score once and for all. But bitter revenge is
upended by newfound love in this sublime masterpiece starring Sam Waterston of Newsroom and

theme, Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan directs Cymbeline, in which Princess Imogen’s fidelity is
put to the royal test when her disapproving father banishes her soul mate. Cross-dressing girls

were enthusiastically applied to create this contemporary mixed media work framed in a gorgeous
blonde wood frame.
604. 2-119 VOLPE: OUR STORIES OF SECOND GRADE IN NYC
Project Coordinator: JP Delaney, Alina Panas

times; they studied the city’s neighborhoods and their landmarks; they traveled the city’s streets by
bus, by train or by taxi; they learned about other remarkable people in the biography study unit;
they made new friends. To capture their experiences in second grade, the children put together
collages of images and words, all combined into a map of New York City by neighborhoods.

WISH LIST
BEN PRINCE

“My father’s mother, Maria Zasa, was an
Italian born in Tunisia, a French protectorate at
the time. It was a treat to grow up with a
grandmother who spoke English, Italian,
Arabic and French. I remember the little
French songs she would sing to us about the
marionettes, and also her toast when she was
about to sip a glass of wine. She would always
say, ‘à votre santé,’ meaning, ‘to your health.’”
