Welcome to the 2009 D&H Cattle Co. Bull Sale, We would like to welcome you to our second annual Bucking Bull Sale. We have been breeding bucking bulls for 25 plus years. However, the past few years we have done extensive work on our embryo transplant program and cooperator herds, and we are now producing 150+ bulls each year. So we have to sell 150+ each year to keep them at a manageable number. We had great reports on the bulls sold in last year’s sale. Three bulls which sold in last year’s sale were selected to buck at the 2008 PBR Finals. Bad Brad for Jerome Davis, Slow Ride for Bobby Stallings & JW Hart, and Tom Petty for Shane Davis & Jerry Nelson. Tom Petty was also a top Classic contender in 2008 earning over $19,000. We have cleaned up the bottom end of our older bulls. Our goal is to offer a solid set of seasoned bulls, along with a top set of young unproven classic prospects in this sale each year. This sale offering is just that! It starts with 36 Sports Machine a proven PBR superstar, and don’t miss the powerful set of five and six year olds which are in the prime of their life. The three and four year olds have not had many outs (this will be the first for several). There is plenty of talent in this group. Watch them perform and buy the ones that fit your program. They are Bred to Buck! We are also offering several breeding bulls this year. In the past, we have been selling them in our annual female sale. But, we believe offering them earlier in the year would benefit the buyers having the bulls for earlier breeding. This is a powerful set of breeding bulls. We only consider them breeding bulls if they have proved to us their ability to buck combined with proven genetics. We have bred to several of these bulls ourselves. We are excited to be working with Superior productions this year. The bulls will be bucked on February 10th and again on February 24th during the sale. We welcome everyone to attend both bull ridings. Thanks for your interest. D &H Cattle Co. page 2 D&H Cattle Co. Bull Sale 1 Sports Machine Bull . . . 10015373 . . . 3/2/2001 . . . Consigned by D&H/BUCK/Watts Sire: WASHITA JUNIOR (Page 01) Dam: PAGE BREEDING 36 Sports Machine 1550 lbs. Black Motley face with horns. He’s been to the PBR finals every year since he was a 3 year old. He’s been featured in the short go the majority of the time. He had a lot of success in the ABBI Classic events with earnings of over $100,000. He’s been one you could count on every time. He’ll be 8 years old this year and is still one of the rankest bulls going. He has a some good years left in him plus his potential to be a great sire is the most important thing to think about. We’ve bucked 2 calves sired by him and they are impressive. I marked one 23.5 and the other 22. He’s proven himself in every way possible. We will be flushing cows to him in the future. Here is a opportunity to buy a proven great one. Put him on a bull team, buck him, or build a breeding program the choice is yours. He sells with 200 units of semen. page 3 Bucking Bulls Lot 5, Page -21 Lot 2, 415 Big Rig 2 Bull . . . 10030481 . . . 01/01/2004 . . . Five year old black & white spotted horned bull. 415 turns back in the gate to the left and gets it on. He’ll give you all he’s got every time. They’ll be from 88 to 90 on him if they can keep up. Lot 4, 322 Dirty Doug 3 101 Cliff ’s Edge Bull . . . 10025945 . . . 09/04/2002 . . . Consigned by D&H/Buck This is a 7 year old 1500 lb brindle horned bull. He was Reserve Champ Futurity bull under Stray Kitty. He’s bucked hard since we started him and has a lot of kick and speed in the gate to the left. He’ll still get it on today, probably not a finals bull, but still a really good one. We’ve bred to him and his calves are going to be the real deal. There’s no guess work here, they buck.
