At The Highlands, our life care gives you a rare certainty in life – a firm plan for the future that will control expenses for
higher levels of care, if ever needed.
We offer entrance fee options, along with predictable monthly service fees that give you guaranteed access to our
continuum of on-site health services, including personal care, skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
Our Comprehensive (Type A) Contract enables our residents to receive unlimited health services as needed, maintaining
the same independent living monthly service fee no matter what level of care is needed.
Our Modified (Type B) Contract, available on our apartments only, is perfect for those who may have long-term care
insurance or those who may be interested in limited health services. Under this contract, single residents receive up to
60 days of personal care and 60 days of skilled nursing care at the independent living monthly service fee rate. Double
occupants receive a shared total of 90 days of personal care and 90 days of skilled nursing care at this rate. Once these
benefit days are exhausted, residents pay the per diem rate for the appropriate level of care.
