Women’s Cultural Day:
A day of connection, nature & story
Come join us for a day of connection, nature and story. Experience and discover
the Southern Highlands in a brand new way. This is a rare opportunity that is not
often found!
Community Aboriginal Elders, Aunty Wendy and Aunty Rena, who have lived in the
Southern Highlands for 30 years and have permissions from the traditional
owners of this land, will introduce us to some of the power places, some of the
stories and some of traditional history of this ancient area. Connect to the power
of this land in a unique and empowering way.
Aunty Wendy will bring Dreamtime stories and a Creation story. Aunty Rena will
introduce us to plants of the area, and we will have the opportunity to find and
taste bush food (depending on what is available). If it is warm enough we will
swim in a traditional women’s area.
Investment for this great day will be $55. Bookings essential and numbers are
limited!
