Goddess Sree Sowdambika, Our College
has rendered its service in Education over a
decade. This is possible only because of
the philanthropic gestures of the
Management, Chockalingapuram Devangar
Varthagar Sangam. This “SSCE News
Letter” is the outcome of the untiring
services of the Management and staff
members of our college. I would like to
extend my wishes for the enhancement and
enrichment of this “News Letter” in the
years to come. I invite on behalf of the
Management and my own behalf all the
staff members and students to actively
participate and engrave their latent talents
through the “News Letter”. Before I
conclude my message, I would like to

PROFILE OF THE
ENGINEERING TEACHER
PROFILE OF THE PRINCIPAL
Dr.M.Sivakumar, Principal of Sree
Sowdambika College of Engineering is an
outstanding personality in the academic
excellence. He had his schooling at
Aruppukottai. Obtained his bachelor
Degree at P.S.G College of Technology,
Coimbatore. Completed his Master Degree
in Production on Engineering and received
Gold Medal. Had done research in
Thiagarajar College of Engineering and
received his PhD Degree from Anna
University Chennai. He has put in his
service as an academician and industrialist
for seventeen years. Has published Ten
International and National journals.
Presented twenty two papers in the
Conferences and seminars. He is the
member of professional bodies such as
ISTE, Institute of Engineers, and Society
for Manufacturing Engineers.
Recently he has assumed his office
as the Principal of Sree Sowdambika
College of Engineering.
Dr.K.Arulmozhi
Dr.k.Arulmozhi, Advisor of Sree
Sowdambika college of Engineering is an
eminent personality in the academic and
other activities. He assumed his profession
as a teacher in the year 1985. After his
fifteen years of service in the polytechnic
college, he assumed his prestigious office
as a principal at Kamaraj College of
Engineering
and
Technology,
Virudhunagar in the year 2000. Later, in
addition to his M.E Degree in
Instrumentation Engineering, he did his
M.Tech Degree and completed his M.Tech
in CS and IT from M.S.University,
Tirunelveli.
Previously, he did his research and
received Ph.D Degree from Birla Institute
of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is
the active member of the Academic
Council Member of Anna University,
Tirunelveli, Executive Member of Sports
Council, Anna University, Chennai and
Vice-Chairman
of
Pothigai
IEEE
Subsection. He had conducted several
International Engineering Conference. He
is an embodiment of knowledge with Men
and Matters.

The News Letter of Sree
Sowdambika College of Engineering
blossoms soon on monthly basis with the
aim to provide an appropriate platform
presenting well considered, meaningful,
constructively thought provoking articles,
drawings, technical matters, poetry bits,
puzzles and so on.
All the Staff-Members and students
are informed and invited to take part in the
publishing of SSCE News Letters on the
above said matters related. It would
certainly be an encouragement to us. Feel
free to exhibit your talents in the form of
any aspects which have been mentioned
earlier.

published their papers in the National
Level Technical Symposium at
BNEC.Nine students participated in

applications work shop’ on 28.08.10 at
KLN College of Engineering.

addresses on these topics were very
useful
