Easter Seals’ camping programs
As a good friend once put it “camp is the jewel of summer” and we
at Easter Seals truly believe that. We want to offer camp programs
that give our campers and their families’ precious moments of
independence, exploration, respite and fun.
Exciting and carefully planned activities present campers with
opportunities to try new activities, to build on skills they have
already developed and to foster new friendships in a supportive and
cooperative setting. Our camp staff have been carefully selected
and trained to provide the best quality of care for your camper.
Camp is a place where you can step outside your everyday lives
and discover who you can be. In addition to all the benefits for our
campers, camp is a wonderful opportunity for respite for all of the
parents/caregivers.
Let us make camp a place that you and your campers look forward
to every year. Be a part of something special and join us for a
summer of great memories!
Mission statement
Easter Seals provides exceptional
services to ensure that all people with

about day camps
Easter Seals’ Day Camps offer opportunities for quality care and great
adventure wrapped into one exciting program. Day campers attend their camp
for 6 to 7 hours a day of jam-packed excitement. Our day campers experience a
wide variety of activities from crafts and sports to special events and group
projects. Our low counselor to camper ratios ensure that there will be trained
counselors engaging your camper and offering them support and
encouragement throughout the entire day.
Day camp families provide their own transportation to and from camp everyday,
and campers bring a packed lunch with them. Snacks, program supplies and
equipment are provided. Please be sure to look at the details for each camp
because times, ages, and days differ for each camp. Day campers may register
for any number of sessions with a non-refundable deposit per week.

ACES Camp

ages 10-22
This program has been created for children and young adults with Asperger’s
Syndrome and high-functioning autism. Let your child join in the fun and

and memorable. The ACES camp focuses on activities that are so often enjoyed
while encouraging social interaction, building friendships and trying new
activities in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
The camp is split into age groups (ages 10-22) and runs on Tuesday, Thursday
and Friday for three weeks. Each group is managed by specially trained staff
members who are experienced with the needs of a child with Asperger’s
syndrome and high-functioning autism. Schedules with the facilities and themes
will be distributed after registration and closer to the start of the camp. The camp
will run 9am – 3pm except for some special occasion days.
