Among the many styles of pizza (New York, California, Chicago, etc.), Naples is the oldest and most challenging pizza style to
master. What is Naples Style? The foundation starts with a very thin crust, topped with “Naples” ingredients and baked in a
very hot oven. While this is a simple description, what Naples Style means to you may differ. Whatever your personal tastes,
Wood Stone has an oven that can allow you to master your version of the Naples pie.
TRADITIONAL NAPLES PIZZA: WOOD-FIRED
For many years, Wood Stone customers have used Wood Stone wood-fired ovens to make traditional Naples pizza. A traditional Naples pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven and Wood Stone has a selection of ovens that are favored for achieving this
standard. While almost any of our ovens can be ordered in a wood-fired configuration, the models below are particularly well
suited to the high temperatures and operational challenges of this style of pizza.
