Our sixth week at school this year has been a fantastic one with so much AMAZING work going on in classes! We are all very proud of their work and have taken lots of photographs of their amazing writing and maths work. Also this week we have seen our Bikers Breakfast and Dr Bike session when so many children brought their bikes along to have them prepared this morning and also to taste some of the lovely breakfast grub that Mrs Dickinson prepared for us this morning. Next week our Year 6 children head off on their PGL journey as they leave us for the whole week! Have a great time guys and do us very proud down there! Year 1 will be ending their IPC topic a little closer to home as they take a walk to Finsbury Park next week. Please take the time to look at some of the photos of the amazing things we have been doing this week... Have a fantastic weekend! Both surveys can be found on our school website under our ‘Our School’ section or you can scan the QR codes with your mobile device and complete the survey's on your smartphone or tablet. For each of the statements, please tick the box which best reflects your views of the school. Please think carefully about your answers. We do take notice of them and will report the results of the survey. We will have paper copies at the front desk if required. This is part of our continuing drive to improve our standards. Thank you in advance for your support. We are delighted to say that this mornings Bikers Breakfast was Dr Bike rapture. Our two Dr Bike mechanics were kept incredibly busy, aligning handlebars, tightening brakes , checking gears, pumping tyres and providing cycling TLC to over 15 children, family and staff bikes. A yummy breakfast consisting of pastries, fruit loaf and pancakes, a variety of fruit and fresh juice was available too. Dr Bike and Bikers Breakfast is funded by Hackney Sustainable Travel and, as a Transport for London BRONZE STARs School, Woodberry Down is delighted to host these sessions termly to demonstrate our commitment to active travel and road safety. Many thanks for your lovely support.
