The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) LSE provides academic direction for undergraduate programmes in economics, management, finance and the social sciences (EMFSS). A Qualifying Law Degree The University of London LLB is recognised for entry into the legal profession in Malaysia, England, Wales and other jurisdictions, provided you study the necessary courses. 7 About your study Our distance and flexible study method gives you as much choice as possible about how, when and where you study. Study independently or get local tuition In Malaysia, you can study with one of 11 independent teaching institutions that are recognised to support our undergraduate programmes. Or, if you want an even more flexible option, you can study independently by distance learning. More information about teaching institutions is on page 10. [No recognition is given to 322 or 122 English Language Communicational] Three passes from the Malaysia Higher School Certificate/Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (except Kertas Am) (awarded from 2003) with at least grade C in two of these subjects and grade B in one. Matrikulasi / Matriculation Certificate (in and after1988), provided a minimum CGPA of 3.0 is achieved. Advanced Diplomas / Certificates / Diplomas / Foundation Programmes / Graduate Certificates/ Graduate Diplomas provided they are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency at level 3/Foundation level or above will also be considered for entry. Applying for postgraduate programmes The cost of your degree You generally need to hold at least a second class honours degree, or equivalent, to be accepted to a postgraduate programme. Please check the individual programme pages for entry requirements and application deadlines: Studying for a University of London degree through the University of London International Programmes is much more affordable than coming to London to study on campus. With no travel, relocation or accommodation costs it represents excellent value for money. Listed below are the typical total costs of studying for our degrees, based on you completing in three years. This covers your admission, registration, some study materials and exams. The fees listed do not need to paid as a lump sum – you can pay as you go. If you attend a local institution, you will have to pay additional fees to the institution. You will also have to pay a fee to your local exam centre to take exams. www.londoninternational.ac.uk/courses Transferring to a UK university After your first year of study, you may be able to transfer to the second year of a similar degree as an on-campus student at one of the Colleges of the University of London or another university in the UK. However, there is a great deal of competition, so you will need to achieve good marks.
