FCA Event Highlights
Woodlawn Movie Events
FCA was given a great opportunity to host a preview event of the
remarkable movie “Woodlawn” on September 17 at Marcus
Crosswoods Cinema. The 200 seat theater was sold out with
athletes and coaches from all across Central Ohio. Former OSU
football player Ben Buchanan joined us and shared with the crowd
after the movie. See below for a testimony from the event.
FCA also hosted the Woodlawn movie in October with Jeff Reeves
former NFL player and Corporate Executive sharing his testimony.
This movie gave the great message of the change that God can have
on a team, a school, and a country. A Must See! To see how FCA
was directly part of this movie and story, go to this link to learn more:

Feedback received from a parent:
“My son and I just returned from seeing Woodlawn. I want to thank you for organizing this event! What an
incredible story. I am so thankful that my son was able to go and see a true story about how faith can change
the world around us. The speaker at the end of the movie was also very inspirational. He had my son’s full
attention. Thank you for all that you are doing for FCA at Liberty Middle School.”

Huddle Coaches Sharing their stories:
“Our coaches are really
enjoying the study “Wisdom
from a Playbook.” We have
had great discussions about
practical things we are dealing with, how we can develop
young people, discussing
ways we can lead and share
the gospel with our players.”
Rick Collins-Westerville Area
“Our huddle at New Albany
has experienced God’s
blessing this year! God has
really been speaking to our
coaches about getting
alone with Him and living
our faith in front of the
players and families we
coach.“
Jim Morgan-New Albany
athletes
“As I look back at our fall Coaches huddle,
the challenge that confronts every coach/
athlete is how well did you do today? Our
culture values performance, especially in
sports. Contrast that with Ephesians 2:8-9,
by His grace we are saved, and this is not
our doing, but a gift from God. As we studied the book of Ephesians we could see
how God loves and accepts us compared
to how the world views life. This study
applied to coaching, marriage and family.
