“My first time to Silsby Lake and the first time to take my son fishing in
Canada. We both caught trophy pike with assistance from great guides. Of
course my son caught the biggest out of our group of 12. Big fun, big fish and
bigger relationship building.” David Strege (below)
“Three generations enjoyed the trip
to Silsby...
Grandfather, Son and Grandson!
Thank you for a great memory!”
The Taylors (Brett Taylor - left)
Since 1977, customers of the Fett family have been 90% repeat or referral every season. Nothing brings more joy
to us than seeing old friends/customers bring up their children and grandchildren to experience the thrill of a fly in
fishing trip in Canada. We have many upgrades and improvements planned at Silsby this season and are looking
forward to seeing all of our repeat guests and making long lasting relationships with our new guests in 2015.
“An incredible encounter in nature, is just an encounter..
unless you can share it with someone special.”
“Thanks for another great fishing trip! This was my third trip to
Silsby in four years, and I will definitely be back next year. The new
airstrip and direct flights from Winnipeg were great additions.
See ya next year!” Mark Maruska (right)
“This has been my 4th straight year of fishing your paradise....SILSBY LAKE LODGE. I know Silsby & your outpost
lakes are famous for Trophy Pike fishing & each year, our parties have never been disappointed. This year, I battled
what could have been the all-time Silsby record for over 10 minutes. I will be thinking about that monster pike
until I get back next year for another chance. Also...don’t forget to thank your incredible, friendly & gifted crew.
The fabulous meals & shore lunches...plus, their “over the top” service all contributed to another memorable stay
@ your Paradise. Again....I will be back in 2015 to “Live the Dream @ Silsby”. “ Dick Mrocek (left)
“Silsbly Lake Lodge was an awesome experience. I am 50 years old and
have never been fishing in Canada, when I finally had the chance to go my
friend and I chose Silsby. I really didn’t know what to expect and it was all
just so wonderful. The food, the equipment, the guides and the beautiful
atmosphere and amazing surroundings were all part of an absolutely great
time. We caught fish at almost every spot we went. I caught a 41 inch
Northern Pike on my second day fishing. It was really exciting bringing in a
fish that large. That’s the largest fish I have ever caught and it took 4 tries
to get him in the boat. Just a great time and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.” Michael E. Johnson (right)
“Here is a picture of one of Brian’s two trophy fish; 42” & 43.5”.
He caught both of them on Sept 2nd; the 42” before lunch & the
43.5” 20 mins before it was time to come in. Great way to end an
already fantastic week!” Lorrie Stoll & Brian Strohschein (right)
“I’ve never experienced a trip like this before. It went way better
than expected. From flying in, to our cabin stay, accommodations
were great! I can’t believe you guys have wifi and cable too (to
watch the World Cup after fishing). Our guide Jason was great to
fish with. We kept moving to find the hot spots and caught fish
consistently throughout the trip. I would recommend this for
any adventurous person or someone looking to unplug for a few
days.” Jordan Boe (below - right)
Pure Serenity
Nestled into the Quaking Aspens and Jack Pines, sits Silsby Lake
Lodge. This peaceful island getaway gives our guests a chance to
getaway from the fast moving life back home and relax. Whether
it is relaxing by the fire at sunset, or taking a break at shore lunch
our friendly staff ensure; that your stay is a memorable one.
“When I went to Silsby Lake, it was by far the highlight of my summer. The lodging was awesome considering I slept all through
the night knowing I was going to catch a whole lot of fish the
next day. All the food choices each day were great, especially
the shore lunches. Best of all, the fishing was spectacular, with
a huge help of our great guide. A month after returning to the
states, I received a certificate & official pin in the mail stating I
was an Official Master! I would LOVE to go back there again.”

16 new lakes to fish in 2016!
Our new resort, Misaw Lake Lodge, is Saskatchewan’s
most remote trophy fishing destination. The main lake
and 16 fly out lakes offer some of the best Northern Pike,
Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling fishing available to fishermen today. Sight fishing for giant Northern Pike is almost
guaranteed from ice out until as late as mid July. From
mid July to late September you can expect very aggressive
Pike as they feed hard in the cabbage and come up in the
shallows as the temps drop. The Lake Trout are massive
on these lakes and can be caught in the rivers and shallow
water from ice out to mid July. There is plenty of action in
deeper water for “Lakers” in mid summer and it’s tough
to beat fishing for Lake Trout during the spawn in late
August or September. Within fifteen minutes of the lodge,
Arctic Grayling can be found in the river system’s fast flowing water. The “Sailfish of the North” can be caught on
light tackle or fly rods and many are caught up to 17 inches with some in the 20 inch class caught every season.
Besides the great fishing at the main lodge, there is an
outpost camp lake that can accommodate the “do-it-yourself” fishermen. Pike, Lake Trout, and Arctic Grayling are
available on this lake as well.
