Odd Roar Lofterød
founds Odlo in
Norway. His motto
in sports and in life
was “always make
sure you’re one
step ahead.”
The first elasticized and
functional cross-country
skiing and speed skating
outfit made of the
revolutionary Helanca
fibre is introduced. The
next year, the Norwegian
national team dons them
for the Winter Olympics.
1986
1972
Lofterød Jr. and his partners
recognize the future of the
sports brand and establish
Odlo International AG in Zug,
Switzerland. The next year
the revolutionary three-layer
Athletic Clothing System is
launched.
At the Olympics in
Sapporo, 25 national
teams are wearing
Odlo competition

It all began in 1946 with two sewing machines and Odd Roar Lofterød’s vision of top
quality sportswear. This winter, Odlo celebrates its 70th birthday. The last 70 years
have been distinguished by our unwavering desire to innovate and develop advanced
materials and technologies. Inspired by our history and origins, we are now celebrating our anniversary with a very special collection. We have combined 70 years
of innovation with the very latest designs to create a collection that epitomises
what Odlo is all about: performance, quality, individuality and timeless design.
Our anniversary collection includes a range of exclusive products from underwear
and training gear to the perfect post-exercise outfits. The garments feature innovative technologies such as practical seamless ribbing and hybrid designs, and they
catch the eye with their all black colour scheme with golden branding and details
that echo the Norwegian flag. We have created a versatile, high-performance
collection that is perfect for every sporting activity this winter.

With the new Evolution warm shirt we have created an outstanding piece of underwear based on our 70 years‘ experience in creating functional garments. Thanks to an additional
hood and a full zip the shirt can be worn either as a first or
a second layer. Its unique seamless construction, special rib
structures that offer additional warmth and the fact it‘s made
with recycled PES makes this an ultra-versatile piece with a
perfect fit and outstanding freedom of movement.

ENDURANCE RUNNING UNIQUE LOOKS, TOP PERFORMANCE
The Endurban 2.0 jacket combines unique style with outstanding performance. Thanks to
its insulation spacer fabric that keeps air naturally isolated between two layers of fabric
it keeps the body warm where it is needed. By using the seamless technology we were
able to create an engineered body mapping on the sleeves and additional features such
as two side pockets, an integrated rib hem at the bottom and the seamless hood, as well
as a futuristic hybrid construction, makes

as a ski pass pocket, RECCO(r) reflector and silicon tape on the hem which keeps the
