ON THE MAP
MOORPARK METROLINK STATION
The Moorpark Metrolink Station is served by Metrolink’s
Ventura County Line and Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner with
16 Metrolink trains and five Pacific Surfliner trains daily.
But that’s not all! VISTA’s East County route operates in
the SR-23 corridor between Westlake Village, Thousand
Oaks, Moorpark and Simi Valley. You can also connect to
Moorpark City Transit and Thousand Oaks Transit via the Metrolink Commuter Shuttle
Service directly from the station. With all these great transportation options, it’s no
wonder the Moorpark Metrolink Station is such a popular hub in Ventura County!
ON THE GO
DUMP THE PUMP AND SWITCH
TO TRANSIT
With gas prices eating away at wallets
everywhere, June is a great time to
try public transit. In fact, on June 19,
the American Public Transportation
Association (APTA) and public
transportation systems across the
country are celebrating the ninth
annual National Dump the Pump Day.
Need more convincing? The latest
APTA Transit Savings Report shows
that a two-person household that
downsizes to one car can save – on
the average – more than $10,174 a
year. That’s a lot of saved gasoline!
Contact us at (800) 438-1112 or visit
www.GoVentura.org to learn more
about local transit options. Dump the
pump and start saving!
