Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County (BBSVC) has been serving youth from
Calabasas throughout Ventura County for 46 years. We are the only preventive
program of its kind, designed to assist youth in staying off drugs, out of gangs and
in school, by matching a caring adult volunteer in a one-on-one mentoring
relationship with a child either from a single parent family or a foster youth. In 2015,
with the help of you, our sponsors, other donors, and our community of wonderful,
committed BBSVC volunteers, we served more than 1,500 youth. Many more
children could benefit from a mentor helping them reach their potential.
We would like to ask for your assistance with a donation for the upcoming
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County BIG Jamboree to be held on
Friday evening, September 16, 2016. Award-winning country-rock
singer-songwriter Ry Bradley will headline the BIG Jamboree at The
Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks. We will be having a silent auction
and are looking for unique items from local businesses. We also have
sponsorship opportunities available to give your company a greater
presence both in our marketing campaign and at the event.

necessary to serve the local youth facing adversity who are waiting to be matched
