 FOTO FIX VICTORIA BARTLETT’S SECOND SKIN OPENING An Art Show Round‐Up By Jillian Mercado June 2012 — SECOND SKIN: An Exhibition and Book Co‐Curated by Victoria Bartlett and Renée Vara On view: May 17 – July 31, 2012 (Mon‐Fri 11am‐7pm, Weekends by Appointment Only) VPL, 5 Mercer St. Howard St., NYC — Designer Victoria Bartlett has created an exhibition based on the anatomy. She asked 15 different artists to submit work using with the theme “Second Skin.” Philip‐Lorca diCorcia, Jack Pierson, Collier Schorr, and Mark Borthwick, Hrafnhildur Arnardottir (a.k.a. Shoplifter) are among the participants. Bartlett explained to the artists that the pieces could be literal or interpretive.
