Maestrat Park, San Jordi is a brand new residential and
holiday mobile home park situated in the heart of the
Sierra de Erta on the Costa Azahar. It is an island of peace,
and friendly informality, offering visitors the best of all
worlds. Located near the town of Sant Jordi, it is a perfect
base to discover the richness of this area of Spain. Close to
the larger seaside towns of Vinaros, Benicarlo and
Peniscola with miles of beaches, marina’s, shops and
hospitals. Maestrat Park is a superb location to enjoy your
holiday in the sun.
The Park covers approximately 50,000 square metres. The
plots are a generous size and have been developed to a
high standard, and accommodate a choice of residential
and holiday homes. Most of the plots have stunning
uninterrupted views over the countryside. The park has a reception, Café/Bar, Park shop and swimming
pool.
San Jordi is 1.5 kilometres from the Park and it is a small and pleasant village, offering banks, post office and
local shops.
This makes Maestrat Park a perfect base for walkers, cycling or just relaxing on the beach or by the pool.

The nearest
beaches are at Vinaros, only a few
minute’s drive from the park. Vinaros is a large lively town with a full
range of shops, bars, restaurants
and supermarkets. It has a large
indoor market open every day for
fresh fish and vegetables. Every
Thursday Vinaros has a large open
air market that stretches along the
sea front.
Further down the coast you will find the historic town
of Peniscola with it’s ancient castle, famous for the setting of the 1961
film ‘El Cid’.
The old town has many narrow alleyways with a range of quaint shops, bars and
restaurants serving the region’s famous Tapas and paella dishes.
From Peniscola, miles of golden sandy beaches stretch north past Benicarlo, and further
south, Castellon, Valencia and Benidorm can be visited.
San Jordi:
Our village just 1.5km away has 4 excellent bars,
restaurants and cafes for you to have your morning
coffee and try some traditional Spanish tapas. The
history of San Jordi goes back to 1261 and by 1379 it
had 44 families living there. The population grew right
through the 19 century and
by 1880 they had 1690 inhabitants, due to the increase
in agriculture. From the civil war the town declined
with people moving to richer areas like Catalonia, but
from the start of democracy, life improved, due to
Tourism the nearness to the Mediterranean Sea and
the peaceful calmness of the rural area.

which gets all the townsfolk out on the streets partying with their neighbours.
They say that there is a Fiesta somewhere in Spain every day, and we do get our fair share.

Every town and village has its market day, so its easy to buy fresh
vegetables and fruit, that
contributes to the healthy Mediterranean way of life.
In Vinaros you have the daily indoor market where you can buy
freshly caught fish, fresh
meat, fruit and vegetables. There are also hypermarkets for your monthly shop.
Golf
Close to Maestrat Park we
have Panaramica golf and country club, designed by Bernhard
Langer. At Castellon there
is an 18 hole golf course at Mediterraneo and one 9 hole golf
course.
Medical
The medical care in Spain is excellent with all hospitals incorporating all the latest technology second to
none. There are many specialist clinics in the area catering for all needs.
Park Home Sales and
Inspection Trips
We offer a large range of New and resale Park Homes starting from €35,000
with an extensive choice of layout. All our homes are built to the highest quality.
Most inspection trips are over 2 days but longer periods can be accommodated.
The closest airports are Valencia or Reus with Castellon opening in the future.
You will be collected from the airport and taken to your accommodation on the park. Should you wish a
longer stay we recommend you hire a car from the airport and we will give you simple directions to Maestrat
Park. The accommodation for the 2 days costs £100 for up to 2 people sharing, but this is refunded should you be successful in buying.
