Well known for his collection of copies of old Masters paintings,
Christophe D. Petyt is a photographer by passion. Since 1992 he has
been touring the world and had the chance to meet with many celebrities
around the world. He has always been very much involved with charities
and had supported many of them. Since the summer 2007 Christophe
has decided to dedicate his work as photographer to charities; after
his last big event at the
Emirates Palace Hotel in
Abu Dhabi (United Arab
Emirates) which included
a 750 persons charity gala
dinner he has decided to
take a break to work on
an important collection
of portrait of Celibrities.
«Stars & Charity» is a
collection of 150 signed
and framed photography
of celebrities from France,
USA and from the Middle
East. Each portrait will be
a limited edition numbered
from 1 to 4. The collection
will be exhibit around the
world in 2009 before to
be auction during 3 major
charity gala dinners in Paris (France), Dubai (United Arab Emirates)
and Los Angeles (USA). All the money raised will be used to support
few organizations that take care of children in need but although to
built two schools in Africa and to provide with all the equipement and
staff for two years. Christophe will be directing this project himself.
