Office of the Chairman of the Board
5030 Zenith Ave South
The Minneapple
April 24, 2010
These little town blues are getting me down … BUT NOT TONIGHT!
Take your place, friends, relax, enjoy the show. Ladies and gents, welcome to New York, thank you for
coming! It’s great to see so many of my good friends here this evening. You all know I love to sing for
you.
Strangers in the night exchanging glances,
Wond'ring in the night what were the chances of … getting the winning bid.
It’s time to shop, shop, shop my friends. We went a long way to bring back a touch of Manhattan right
here for you. You know, you can get anything you want in New York. And I do mean anything.
Fly me to the moon,
Let me play among the stars…
You want Tiffany? We got it. You want Tavern on the Green? We got that too. You want baseball? Got
it. Wine, some chocolate, a little pasta? We got LOTS of that. We got the music and we got the eats.
Boy, Janie’s Addiction and those D’Amicos are cookin’ tonight. The Rainbow Room never did it so
good!
You’re doing a good thing here. We’re raising funds for some good folks who do some great work.
Those CTK guys and dolls are a good bunch.
New York, New York, it's a wonderful town…
Manhattan women are all dressed in satin, so the fellows say
So when you’ve eaten and laughed and drank and danced and said goodnight to the city that never
sleeps, we’ll have to say goodbye. But remember, I’ll see you in the morning.
You know where to find me…
We'll have a whopper, pull out the stopper,
But get me to the church on time…
So, mangia, mangia! Take a seat at the table, drop all the
money you’re able, and please,
Whenever I have an evening to spend. just give me one like this…
This is a lovely way to spend an evening.
Can't think of anything I'd rather do…
Fr. Dale J. Korogi
Chairman of the Board
