Sosban Wedding Venue
Sosban is a Grade II listed building situated in the old historical North Dock quarter of Llanelli Town and it was originally built in
1900 to support the then thriving shipping export trade of the day. Following many years of disrepair the iconic building with its
Church like Tower was lovingly restored and is now home to one of Wales’s award winning Restaurants and stands proudly
alongside the extensively redeveloped Llanelli Millennium coastal path.
The main building which can very comfortably seat over 100 covers has a great ambience with its original high stonewalls,
traditional oak beams and oak sarking vaulted roof together with the beautiful intricate handmade chandeliers and the impressive

steel and brass top bar, which was reclaimed from the original steel water tank that once powered
this impressive structure, all serves as an outstanding setting to any special occasion. With a large
open but exclusive terrace area which seats up to 80 people for al fresco eating, or for drinks is a
perfect area and ideal for that little relaxed moment. For those in search of a quiet moment we
have a light glass top atrium, bringing old and new together.
As a Restaurant we carefully limit the number of weddings that we hold at Sosban, so should you decide to share your very special
day with us you can be assured that it will be exclusive and unique to you.
