To the friends and supporters of the Antrim County Fair:
The Antrim County Fair invites you to come and experience our “Homemade
or Homegrown” family style fair. There is always lots of livestock, from
rabbits and chickens, to goats, pigs and cattle. But don’t forget the horse
show, dog show and all the still exhibits.
Our three-day schedule honors senior citizens, veterans, and families. We
are excited to offer the third annual 5K Run this year, as both a fund-raiser
and a fun, healthy event for Fair Week. Don’t miss our new Pork and Side
Restaurant Cook-Off, and the Lego Build and Race. We’ll also offer an
activity tent, children’s games, a cake walk and bingo throughout the three
days, making every day a new adventure for young and old alike.
The Fair would not be possible without strong community support, and
funding from Antrim County. We appreciate our volunteers, guests, and
everyone who helps make our fair a success year after year.
We have great things to share at the Antrim County Fair this year. Bring your
family, bring a friend and don’t miss this wholesome family entertainment
opportunity that is like no other.
Sincerely,
Crystal Swain, President
Dear Friends,
Welcome to the 2016 fair season, a family-centric entertainment staple which pays
homage to our rich agricultural heritage. Millions of Michigan residents and tourists attend
county fairs every year, which are an annual family tradition for many. These events are
wonderful opportunities to experience Pure Michigan at its finest. There is much to be excited
about in Michigan agriculture today and our county fairs are part of that growing enthusiasm.
I am proud of both Michigan’s 4-H program and the tremendous accomplishments of
our FFA peers. Thanks to Michigan’s local and county fairs, our youth have the opportunity to
showcase their hard work while educating fairgoers about the state’s food and agriculture
industry. There are tremendous career opportunities to explore in a variety of areas including
biotechnology, microbiology, soil science, metrology and more.
Our county fairs are full of local charm and agricultural traditions. This year, be sure to
make visiting one of Michigan’s local or county fairs part of your summer travel plans.
Sincerely,
Rick Snyder

ANTRIM COUNTY FAIR BOARD
The Antrim County Fair would not be possible without countless hours by dedicated volunteers, loyal

Youth and 4-H Exhibitors
The Antrim County Fair is open to all Antrim County
residents. Youth do not have to be a member of a 4-H Club to
participate in most classes. Only exhibitors selling animals
in the 4-H Livestock Auction are required to be members of
an Antrim County 4-H Club. This applies only to the Record
Keeping - Market Project (3540) and classes in the Large and
Small Livestock sections which use the word “market” in the
class title. All other classes are open to all youth. We do use
many 4-H standards for our judging criteria, but everyone is
welcome to enter the fair. We look forward to seeing you.

Important Information for Vendor Applicants
Rules:
1. Booth space is limited to a 10x10 space and will cost $35.00 for all 3 days or $15.00 per day;
Non-profit businesses with an educational booth will be no charge, otherwise a fee for a 10x10
space will be assessed. Youth 18 and under will pay $5.00/day. Payment must accompany the
application if required; if payment is not received with the application, your application will not
be processed until it is received. See Notification Policy for more information.
2. Once payment has been made, cancellation of space will result in the forfeit of all payments if the
request was made after deadline (see below for the cancellation policy). No-shows will forfeit all
payments. Refunds will not be made due to rain or if the vendor feels the event did not meet their
expectations.
3. There is NO electricity available for vendor use at any of the booth spaces (see below for Power
Supply policy). Food and beverage sales are not allowed at the Antrim County Fair; there is a
Fair-sponsored food booth on-site.
4. All vendors must keep their booth staffed while open. The Antrim County Fair will not be
responsible for unattended booths.
5. Please remember that all property must be kept completely within the boundaries of your
assigned space. Handouts and brochures must be contained within a booth space (you may not
walk around to distribute) and they must be approved by the Antrim County Fair Board prior to
the Fair.
6. You may not share or sublet your space with another business, firm or person without advance
written permission from the Fair Board.
7. Booths must be disassembled no later than 1:00 p.m. on Sunday August 14, 2016.
8. The Antrim County Fair will not be held liable for any lost, stolen, or broken items.
9. Please keep in mind that the Antrim County Fair is a youth oriented fair so we ask that all people
conduct themselves accordingly. If the Fair Board feels that your actions and speech is
unacceptable you may be asked to leave; if you have been asked to leave, you will not receive a
refund of your booth fee.
Notification: If your application is accepted, you will receive official notification prior to the start of
the fair. If for some reason, your application is not accepted or spaces are full, you will be notified by
mail (booth spaces are limited). Until you receive confirmation, your space is not guaranteed. If your
application is denied for any reason, your check will be returned or a refund will be issued.
Power Supply: The Antrim County Fair cannot offer any vendor power. If you use a battery device to
provide electricity, it must be contained within your booth space and neighboring booths must not be
disturbed by exhaust fumes or noise. You must indicate your intention to use these devices on your
application. No generators allowed.
Cancellation: If a vendor finds it necessary to cancel participation in the Antrim County Fair, a refund
will be made only if cancellation is received in writing to the Antrim County Fair on or before July 30,
