The spiritual patron of the university is the brilliant historical personality of
Vasile Goldis, ideologist of the Great Union taking place on 1 December 1918.
1990 - „Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad was founded
2002 - accredited by law no. 240, part of the National Education System
2007 - „Vasile Goldis” Western University of Arad signed the MAGNA CHARTA
UNIVERSITATUM in Bologna thus becoming part of the EUROPEAN HIGHER
