Circle the Ecosystem!
By: Nneka Odimgbe
What I learned about is place value is that you
need to know the family, digit, and column. The
first step is to know your numbers. They are
made of digits. Digits are placed in each family.
Remember that the digits are 0-9. The second
step is to select a column. To put the digit in,
each digit is multiplied by 10.So if you don’t get
it and you need help, just ask .Place value is
important.

is when a person can find out
In this subject we had fun
how things work. First ask
because we learned the words questions why or how then
to a song to learn the steps of hypothesize shows it
the Scientific Method. When best .Analyzing data comes
we learned about the scienup next then you can you hostific method we had a good
pice again to show it best. So
that’s some stuff that we
know about the Scientific
Method.

All Dolled Up by: Savannah McHugh
“For a couple of weeks we have been leaning about
the Plains Indians''. We made dolls ands decorated
them with jewelry and beads, representing the Southwestern clans .’’ Our dolls are very Dolled Up
.’’They have beautiful hair.’’ The dolls have tipi’s
and blanket’s that we weaved in class just as they
would have on the desert. 'The doll’s are made out of
bottle’s and ,Easter eggs , a sock , and a buffalo skin
poncho that we cut out on a piece of fabric .’It took a
while to make these amazing dolls .’ We put dresses
on the dolls to make them look fabulous .’’We sewed
our blanket’s with a little help from Mrs. Luke ,Mrs.
Cross , Ms. Hammond, Mr. Harris, Mr. D. Harris,
Ms. Roberson, and Mrs. Brown for letting us do this
project .’’We couldn't of done this with out their help.

Get To The Point!
By: Khalema Francois: Get to
the point. Decimals are fun to
do. We made a song for
decimals it go’s when you
multiply I add zero when I
divide I take them a way.
When you do decimals the
number behind the line has to
be a zero. You can only round
to number ending in zero.
The number before the line is
the same number. We have a
different song and it go’s like
this zero –four stays the same
five-nine add one to the game.
When you do your decimals
the way you can do it put a
line under the number your
teacher tells you to, then put a
box on the number behind it
and you will get it just follow
my stuff and you will get it.
Trust me on this and you will
get it. Decimals can be a lot of
fun but sometimes they can be
a little tricky. That’s why you
should follow my advice. My
advice is to follow your dreams
and study hard to exceed or
pass the CRCT math test. If
you really want to be smarter
and work harder then next year
request for Mrs. . Brown for a
teacher and she will teach you
all you need to know about
decimals and trust me on this
one you will be smarter and
you will learn about the world
in Mrs. Brown’s class.

out too long. You can put out
four cups of milk and label
them cold, warm, boil, and
room temperature. Then when
you check on them the first day
they are all good. On the fourth
day one of them may be
spoiled. On the seventh day all
of them may be spoiled. I enjoyed witting an article about

might be a scientist when I
grow up.

Features of the Text & Graphic Features
By: Tyla Harris
Learn and learn is all we do,
well this time its text features.
Text Features are things that
are need in a book or wanted
to make the reader want to
look at or even scan your story.
For example, one of the text
features or graphic features
(picture) that grabs the readers
eye a photograph or the topic
sentence. One of the things that
you need might be paragraphs
or diagrams to compare. So lets
try to see a writers point of
view of some text and graphic
features. Say your writing about
your favorite restaurant what
graphic or text features would
you choose?
