We started our project because we wanted to
contribute to the understanding and tolerance of
diversity worldwide. Now, after two exciting
crowdfunding months we want to give you an
overview of the things we achieved, our future goals,
and the most important thing - we want to thank to

We were published in over 10 international
magazines in these months:

Crowdfunding out to the real world!
The artist Martijn Crowe traveled to Tijuana,
Mexico to participate in the international Film and
Gender festival, where he held a lecture about
Drag Queens! We showed the project video in
a cinema with 500 guests.

And now?
We wanted to crowd fund this project because we believe that
donating for the publication of this book is to make a clear
statement that you support Drag Queens of the World and
contributes to making diversity visible. We are very happy with all
the contributions we got, all the publicity, the new connections we
made and all the awareness we managed to create with this
campaign.
The adventure continues with various events in Amsterdam during
fall and summer, we will go to New York and Shanghai to finish
the project, and the book will be published as planned in the end
of 2014. And although our crowdfunding campaign is over, you
can still support Drag Queens of the World by visiting our website
and donating for the publication of the book, by visiting certain bars
in Amsterdam and by spreading the word about Drag Queens
of the World!
